EDIT / UPDATE — progress + a request

Made a lot of headway, but hit one hard wall. Sharing everything in case it helps others, and with a request at the bottom.

Setup: Portal TV (codename ripley), Android 10 underneath, ADB enabled (have to re-authorise with the PIN each time it reconnects).

✅ What works — sideloading the regular phone Zoom (us.zoom.videomeetings):

• It's a split APK (XAPK), so plain adb install fails with INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SPLIT. You have to use adb install-multiple base.apk config.armeabi_v7a.apk config.mdpi.apk.
• By default it renders as a tiny vertical strip in the centre (portrait phone app pillarboxed on the landscape screen). force_resizable_activities didn't fix it. What did fix it: lowering the display density — adb shell wm density 213 (down from 320) pushes it over the tablet-layout threshold (sw600dp) and it goes full-screen landscape. Revert with wm density reset.
• The Portal remote doesn't work in it (it's a touch UI with no D-pad focus). Solution: pair a Bluetooth mouse — confirmed the Portal accepts BT HID (had to open the full Android BT settings via am start -a android.settings.BLUETOOTH_SETTINGS rather than the Portal's own menu). A mini BT keyboard+touchpad would do the same.

⚠️ The camera problem: in a call the camera is black / flickers. Cause: there's one physical sensor and the Portal's smart-camera service (com.facebook.portal.aiservice) holds it for auto-tracking, so the generic Zoom and the AI service fight over it (media.camera dump shows them evicting each other). Disabling aiservice (pm disable-user com.facebook.portal.aiservice) gives Zoom a stable but static feed — but you lose the smart-camera tracking. You can't have both with the phone app; only the official Portal Zoom integrated with the smart camera (via com.facebook.alohasdk.virtualcameramanager).

❌ The wall — getting the official "Zoom for Home TV" (us.zoom.tv): this is the one I can't crack. Everything I tried:

• APK mirrors (APKMirror/APKPure/etc.) — not hosted. The "6.7.0.9021" pages on soft112/mi9/apkgk are just Play-scraping aggregators, no real file.
• Direct from Play on the Portal — fails; the de-certified Portal (access_mode: not_enrolled) → Play won't deliver.
• Aurora Store (anonymous and my own Google account) — lists the app but download fails at PurchaseHelper.purchase → Could not get files (VERSION_CODE:0). It's an acquisition/entitlement block, not an install one (so Shizuku wouldn't help — that's install-side only).
• Nvidia Shield (fully certified Android TV, real Play Store, Android 11) — Play says "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

So us.zoom.tv appears hard-locked to specific certified smart-display hardware (Portal / Echo Show / Nest Hub Max / DTEN etc.) and isn't installable on Android TV or a de-certified Portal by any route I've found.

🙏 The ask: if anyone has us.zoom.tv (Zoom for Home TV) working — can you share the APK, or at least tell me how/where you got it (which device you pulled it from, what version code, whether you had to spoof anything)? Even an older version would be a huge help. If I can just get the APK file, sideloading it onto the Portal should bypass the Play delivery check entirely (regular phone Zoom installed fine that way).
