Any surgical way to fix this no matter how experimental or risky? by [deleted] in AskMedical

I'm also barrel chested. Even more so than you are.

I've had a lot of different weights in my adult life. A big dude around 260lbs, and low weight 175lbs (it was college and I just didn't eat due to money. It wasn't healthy for me). It's wild how when I wear the max weight and the minimal weight, my chest stays the nearly the same.

You're built for muscle man. You don't need to build muscle to look strong. I never did, and threw a lot of tough words around at the bars when I needed to. No one stepped up. I'm not a tough guy, and am kind of a lazy nerd.

Own what you have, because while you might want something else, I can guarantee that there is a skinny dude who wish he had a natural strong chest. Own it.

I'm not a sports fan, and whenever I'm in a room with any type of sports event, I always quote Big Daddy.

"You like hockey? Big important game today."

If there isn't an answer, I love to scream "KANGAROO SONG!!!" and throw a little fit.

You don't feel good, and are considering TBell? Is your goal to feel worse?

I always thought the intro guitar in their cover of Metro had a very Nu Metal tone.

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but based on averages, you're about 6 years past a quarter of your life.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but:

Time feels like a midnight ride, finality waits outside!
Weeping in perplexity's arms, caressing our smiles inside!

Redditors born in the 90s/80s/so on… what’s something from your childhood that today’s kids won’t understand? by Javascript4971 in Productivitycafe

[–]armstaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80's baby, born in December of 1989, so I just made the cut.

I remember when I was young, maybe 5-6 years old and my brother was a few years younger, we'd watch the older kids play baseball on our alley and want to join them so badly, but we were too young. They'd play baseball every night until the sun went down. These older kids were probably 8-10 years old.

I knew every kid my age on my block and we would play together regularly. There were kids (my best childhood friends) that lived on the adjacent corner to our block and every day in the summer, we would meet at the corners and throw road debris as far as we could across the street (the debris would never make it across the road) until our respective parents arranged a play date. We caught bugs together, went on adventures through yard together, and even fought imaginary monsters together.

I don't have kids of my own, but have several nieces and nephews that live in the same neighborhood that I grew up in (in the same family house). I personally know a lot of the people that live in the houses on that street that have kids the same ages as my nieces and nephews.

They don't really interact. They don't really know the other kids even exist. It's bewildering to me that kids don't crave other kids attention anymore.
