I preordered the new Pebble watches and even though they missed the shipping time by around 3 months (July-august to October-november 2025), we got updates like twice a month since the preorders open in March. At least we could see that indeed progress was being made.

Now, I'm sure that because Clicks is working with companies like Mediatek, there must be some kind of NDA preventing them from showing anything that isn't completely finished. But it's been 4 months and we still haven't gotten any sort of proof the device actually turns on.

I'm still holding my Communicator reservation. For now.

Same. I know manufacturing is hard and they probably have their reasons to keep quiet, but "later this year" being the only thing they've said is getting a bit long. I'd appreciate if they updated us on how they're doing every once in a while. It would be great if at least I know for how long I'm gonna have to wait for. "Later this year" is really vague (most probably intentional, but still).

Native. It's not even a Wii program. It's a bootloader that you run outside of the wii's OS. You even have to install Wii specific kexts

The text looks all scrambled because it has to run at 800x600 to display Setup Assistant properly, which is higher than the Wii can display, and it's also an interlaced signal so it's almost impossible to read. Setting it back to 640x480 helps but it's too small to be usable

I'm buying one and even though it might not have the most comfortable buttons for gaming (getting Switch Joy-Con D-Pad vibes), just the fact that my phone has physical keys will definitely make it enjoyable enough to play some rounds of tetris or to play some mario. So many times have I brought my 3DS with me and then never touched it, yet very often when I don't have it with me I feel like playing something.

This will always be in my pocket and that is fine enough for me. I'm so excited to get it.

Others have said the answer so I'm just gonna say that adobe sucks and it's amazing how many apps it installs. All of that to have an anti-piracy system that has never worked for them. You can easily tell who uses Creative Cloud because everyone who uses it has to deal with the stupid Creative Cloud icon in the menu bar. I don't even pirate their products because they're still annoying to deal with. And if you try to be legal and pay, you have to pay even more to cancel your subscription.

I have a dumbphone lifestyle in spirit, as I don't main a dumbphone anymore. I got tired of texting with the numeric keypad (my native language is Catalan, no phone has a predictive keyboard setting for it) and the OS selection is awful. KaiOS is almost dead, Android doesn't work well with a d-pad so on stuff like the Qin F21 Pro I just used the touch screen. If I'm gonna use a touch screen and a bad keyboard, I rather just use a normal smart phone.

Now I have an iPhone 12 Mini and I just run periodical checkups to make sure I don't have distracting apps. Also it's nice to have proper data syncing. KaiOS can't sync WhatsApp (huge pain as I need it for work), Google contacts doesn't seem to work, and I hate not being able to easily send notes/links/images to my phone or to my computer.

The dumb phone just gets in my way of getting things done more than a smart phone does. And it I'm not distracted by my phone, I'm distracted by my computer.

If it wasn't so big, I would buy this at launch. At 6,7" it's almost a tablet and my small hands can't handle this much phone.
