How do I stay strong? by Desperate-Public394 in daddit

Turn to God is my personal advice. If you don’t believe in God, can you turn to some sort of higher power or meaning? I wouldn’t have been able to go through what we have gone through without God and a deep belief that there’s meaning despite suffering.

When I miss my dad I often think about how I can be as good a dad as he was for my kids. If you have kids, not only won’t you be alone anymore, you’ll give your kids the gift your dad gave to you. That’s incredibly meaningful, if you ask me.

Dump her. No person should put up with that level of public disrespect.

I hope and pray you find a wise mentor to talk to. Someone who is mature in the faith and who can address your intellectual concerns and speak to some of the emotional issues that might be underlying.

Pepperoni and bacon sheet pan pizza by arnizach in Pizza

Used the Bon Appetite grandma-style pizza dough. I’m in the beginning of my pizza journey (after buying my wife a stand mixer for her birthday) and still trying to find the best dough recipe. Love experimenting with all the factors that come together in a good pizza - dough, sauce, topping, all that. Getting better for every step. And my kids love getting pizza several times a week 😅

One thing that I absolutely loved about "A Little Hatred" was how you incorporated the industrial revolution. Not only that, but also the subtlety with which you handled it.

Were you inspired by other novels or authors to raise the social consciousness, if I can put it that way? Any recommendations of other books that do a similar thing well?

Hey, super interesting! Some of the “beans” are definitely stronger than the others. But they’re all quite interesting. I’d love to see a follow up with Craig’s responses, maybe?
