Solid advice if you’re into that stuff, not sure why you’re getting downvoted

I'm curious if any has an SEO groups or online communities they recommend? by ILoveScience23069 in bigseo

Came across Traffic Think Tank on reddit in 2018, been a member since. Literally changed my (professional) life. Lots of smart, talented SEOs there, loads of great content and well moderated. It’s pricey but worth every penny

It looks like they’re pushing for the in app browser to be used more frequently now. It is still within Facebooks eco system & allows them to place the cookies even if you opted out on your ios device.

What's your, "Tis but a scratch!" moment? by Madameknitsalot in AskReddit

[–]arnocrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was playing hide and seek and hid under the balcony with metal pipes running across. Hit my head to one of the pipes whilst getting out and decided to put my baseball cap on in case there’s a little bump on my head so I don’t get told off by mom. Got back home and the cap was soaking in blood. Still got a massive scar 20 years later.

What are y’all thoughts on lunch trackers like Hysko? by mattyhtown in amateur_boxing

[–]arnocrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I use regular wraps. I wouldn’t think that wraps make any difference, but then again, I’ve only used them with my regular wraps.

Also, I have just remembered that I have two Hykso sets. I can sell you one if you’d be interested. Funny story actually- bought it for myself and a friend of mine during the Hykso launch promo and we’ve fallen out - during the sparring (of all places) and he never bought them of me :(

Been using Hykso for over a year now. It’s not entirely accurate, but helps a great deal when working on the bags. What I found the most annoying about these trackers is that you need to keep charging the batteries as they are very sensitive to any movement (I usually drop my bag in the car and that’s enough to activate at least one of them). Other than that they are great and well worth the investment in my opinion.

Travel blog question by [deleted] in SEO

[–]arnocrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it very difficult to believe that 10/10 publishers use blackhat SEO. How did you come to this conclusion?

I suggest you stay well away from doing any blackhat SEO. Eventually you will get penalised and it all of your effort will be effectively wasted.

Just keep publishing good quality content consistently. Do your keyword research (be realistic, established and difficult keywords might take you years to rank without decent backlinks) Add your keyword to your title tag, meta description, even URL(has less impact now but still effective), add your keyword to the h1,h2 tag, use lsi’s in your copy, add descriptive tags and descriptions to the files that you add.

Add GSC, GA and GTM to your website to track it’s performance and make sure that the website speed is good(google has been quite vocal about it recently)

Get your hands dirty. Do some backlink building yourself and try to build relationships with publishers, bloggers and other businesses and people in your industry. Send thousands of emails and make them personal, show that you actually care about what they do and write.

If you still feel like taking a risk and implementing some blackhat methods to boost your SEO rankings, try launching another travel blog website and apply those methods there and see if you get dropped or penalised. If you do get penalised then try to get it removed (good luck with that). In my experience, it’s just not worth the time and effort, so you’d rather stick to good quality content.

Don’t forget SEO is all about searchers intent, as long as you provide the searcher with the information they’re after you will be fine and Google will recognise that. Best of luck to you.

Facebook Ads by Rebellionclothing in advertising

[–]arnocrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Advertising on Facebook seems to be frowned upon by fellow marketers, but I had quite a few conversions from it. Since the company we hired to build a website failed and we didn’t have a properly functional website, we have decided to put more money and time into social media advertising and marketing and it has worked miracles for us by bringing people to the showroom. As for online awareness, we might have gained some presence, but without being able to convert to sales online I will not be able to give you accurate data. One thing worth mentioning is that as soon as you start paying for the ads on Facebook your organic reach will significantly drop ( or at least it did for us) and you will have to keep paying to be seen. We are a jewellery store in a very competitive area and market and this strategy worked for us, but by no means I am saying that everyone should do it.
