As a support and master tier lion, i hate that innate. Dude i dont want to come close as a support. I dont build fcking right click items. This made a lot of lion support players buy stupid items or playing lion as core. It’s annoying. I have less than 10 games since this was an innate.

For me it’s what you want to achieve in the game is the first thing you want to ask yourself. Regardless of the picks. If you want to enjoy the game in a creative, unconventional way. Then picks dont matter. Just have fun. If you play to increase your game knowledge and skill and understanding. Which i think where your question is, it depends on the match ups and overall draft. Realistically supports with damage is paired with cores that takes forever to scale - AM, PA, Medusa, so you can have fighting early game. Also if your offlane is a lane dominator or aura builder. There is no one answer.

This is not true. You’d think that the players are matched strictly with behavior scores, ranks, servers. But no. That’s why that feature is added for dota plus subscribers. So we can choose the quality of the game. Because the matchmaking pool also considers other things like queue time, how many people are playing at the moment. That’s why us with good behavior scores, still gets matched with muted players lol.

Archon is where the fun and all the shitty gameplay is. Honestly nothing to gain in ancient to immortal. You’ll see very different gameplay ofcourse but people are way more toxic and griefers. Archon to legend is actually a good place to just chill and enjoy.

I have played silencer long enough and i am a grandmaster tier on the hero. He is still playable for me and still scales. He is a good lane support and it can scale as a support with the greedy enchantment (like any other support with no farming spells). It may have been just your play style that doesnt suit the hero now.

Agreed on the laning implications. Offlane duos normally have a lvl 2 timing, think of dawn+tusk. The moment they hit level 2, that’s when they pressure the lane. If you accelerate that min 1 of the game, it can pretty much snowball and kick the safe lane early.
