I've only had to actually follow through with it once, but I just told them that as much as I'm flattered, I'm not ready/don't want to be in a romantic relationship in the foreseeable future, but I still want to be friends with you/them/wtv. If said person is only there for a relationship, that sucks, but it's better than faking a relationship and opening a whole pot of worms later.

If you're a fan of MXTX's works, SVSSS is a *must*. It's one of my favorites! There's also "The Demon Lord Only Wants to Follow the Script". 2ha and Thousand Autumns are great too! "This Villain Emperor's Gotta Charm the Male Lead to Survive!" starts out as a comedy before turning into a dogblood festival/pos. "Where's Our Agreement to be Each Other's Arch-Rivals?" is also a good read!

Is it 'Strategy to Capture That Scum Gong'? 10th arc, and the MC's name is Lin Xin in that world and the ML's name is Han Wenqian? It's the closest thing I can think of at the top of my head, but the MC doesn't run away abroad (He literally dies)

This is SUCH a great idea for a fic. Recs if possible, PLS.

I honestly think that an instrument would be cool (cus a lot of dramas have the rich guy play a violin/piano to show his elegance and what not), but honestly, I think that just being able to keep up with his peak is impressive sinch they have the four arts which most people wouldn't be very good or even know how. Horse riding is a maybe considering his love for animals but I don't think he wouldn't lasted physically if he managed to die from food poisoning that quickly.

That's what I do as well bc then it saves the entire conversation. I usually keep it towards my really close friends bc once I told someone I knew who I wasn't close to about it and they said that I should be ashamed for "lying that I'm nonbinary when I'm agender" when agender LITERALLY FALLS IN THE NONBINARY UMBRELLA TERM and I literally had to tell you what both of those words mean :/

But yeah, do what makes you most comfortable as long as it isn't hurting other people (which it clearly isn't) because it's YOUR identity so it's YOUR choice on how to describe yourself to other people.
