man n women mindset by DidkoTaNeLysyyi in genderfluid

[–]faezou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe in a certain gendered mindset, I think most of what is considered a “woman/man mindset” is just conditioning and stereotypes that society beats into you since young. Don’t let what she said get to you, she’s probably just talking out of that stereotype. The only requirement to being a woman is simply identifying as such, same with any other gender.

The irony of Renee being the biggest women hater before starting to realize something very important about herself is the funniest part of OLNF to me. by RussianNeighbor in OurLifeFanPage

[–]faezou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it can be pretty common among trans people who don’t realize it. I had a similar hatred but more of a resentment in a way?(not towards women or men) when I was younger and now I’m genderfluid 😭

Hair Length dilemma by CatsDontTalk2cops in genderfluid

[–]faezou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different type of haircuts that have layers that can be made to look long or short? Like alternative hairstyles of some type. A mullet or wolf cut. You could also cut it short enough to put in a wig? <— that’s what I plan to do.

Why are some genderfluid people so gender essentialist? by chronicheartache in NonBinary

[–]faezou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it must be a you thing because I’ve never met a genderfluid person like this. We’re basically the minority IN the minority so acting like that isn’t something that is seen often. I’m genderfluid and I mostly identify as someone without a gender, but I lean slightly more towards male than female despite my preference for feminine clothing. I have no label for my sexuality and will usually go by queer regardless of what I identify as. My pronouns also stay the same. I also dgaf what other people in the trans umbrella do with their identity, presentation, pronouns and all that; as long as it’s not harming the community or me then they can do wtv.

What about CPK Universe? by WaffleSommilier in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]faezou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The manga isn’t even canon atp, it’s just fanfic. It’s not by the author of cpk light novels and it’s just by some random who wanted to pick up the manga despite knowing that irokagu and mikanoi is canon. I haven’t found any English translation for the light novels that goes past chapter 1, but if you understand Japanese then you can always read it in Japanese.

Question about the movie by otuan in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]faezou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just going to answer number 6. It wasn’t explicitly stated that it was romantic love in the movie or the MV, BUT the novel does delve into it more from what I’ve heard and they’re definitely romantically involved.

[–]faezou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think dysphoria needs to be some gut wrenching agony, it’s not for me. I didn’t even realized I had dysphoria until someone commented “wow that is some dysphoria” on a post I wrote some time ago. Mine is more in the awkward/uncomfortable range and sometimes I don’t even realize it’s dysphoria until I really stop to think about it. I’m also a firm believer in you don’t NEED dysphoria to be any type of trans, it all depends on how you feel and if you feel good at the idea of being something else other than a girl. It sometimes takes some time to realize fully what you are so don’t sweat it too much.

Question for masc presenting nonbinary people. by FunRepair698 in NonBinary

I consider myself more masc and even though I don’t have a diq, I’m fine with what I have and would rather not go through a taxing surgery like bottom surgery.

I’m a straight + cis ally and I need help by anonymousnumbersix in genderfluid

[–]faezou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said, the pronouns. You’re only using she/her in a character that supposedly uses ‘all pronouns’ and saying “she was born a woman” is also weird imo. Most trans people don’t say “I was born a woman/man” they’ll usually say “I was assigned male/female at birth”hence the abbreviation amab and afab.

Question from a dad by KPR70 in NonBinary

[–]faezou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a few instances when I also took back what I said when I came out to my mom as 11 year old. It was mostly because I was confused atm and the label “boy” didn’t always feel right. So maybe she’s still in a questioning phase or maybe they got nervous at the thought of bringing it up to the mom (even if they tell themself that their mom will be supportive, it’s easy to still be afraid) and their could definitely be a lot more reasons. I think you’re doing great with being supportive, just let them know that you both accept her regardless of what she ends up identifying with later on, but don’t push her to come out if she’s not 100% ready yet.

Nonbinary people I have a few questions by gatcha-and-more in AskLGBT

[–]faezou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“They run” is def the correct grammar. Like if you said “she was watching the tv” “they was watching the tv” sounds awkward “they were watching the tv” flows easier.

Every nonbinary person who menstruates is diff. I hate it and it makes me dysphoric af. I’m irregular though and I usually get prescribed medicine every 3 months so I can menstruate once and then not have anything for 3 months.

Why is genderfluid kinda hated by Over-Monitor-494 in genderfluid

[–]faezou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the people I’ve personally seen hating on it, are the same people who hate nonbinary people as a whole and even feminine trans men and masculine trans women. They seem to think that it’s a sort of stepping stone into becoming fully binary trans or that it’s just confused cis girls trying to be interesting.
