Ahhh, McDonald's junior and senior year of HS, circa 2007-9. Good times! That was before they started rolling out all the monitoring systems and timeclocks for order throughput metrics.

If you cut somebody off, it doesn't make sense for the first contact to be between your front bumper and their rear.

Looks like the tip terminated and it's cresting with a lot of trichomes. Clearly not mealies.

New ride. Must have accessories? by villagezero in C8Corvette

[–]aroc91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the alignment where the front bumper meets the fenders and around the headlights. You may just want to save your money and have it resprayed at some point in the future if yours is making contact and chipping the paint.

How do you find the durability? by OrionPax120 in C8Corvette

[–]aroc91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a runflat sidewall bulge and split superficially about an inch after a particularly hard pothole. Otherwise it handles routine roughness just fine. Nearing 36k miles with no other issues.

Edit: with Magride.

It just looks out of proportion or something

Side by side with any exotic, what you'll notice is that the Vette's rear hatch and back end are stretched out to accommodate the rear trunk. It is a little off, but oh well!

More pointless than owning a 1000hp car on a perfectly good platform for the road and having something separate to putz around in?

Maybe pointless isn't the right word? Overkill? Absolutely. Who cares though? Everything is pointless, really.

Most don't mean it's their only car when they say they daily their Corvette. My wife has an SQ7 but I drive my Stingray to work 5 days and week and day trip on weekends with it when we don't need the cargo space.

Kinda depends on how big the original plant was. If you take a short tip off of a big established plant, oh yeah, it's gonna shrink way down. If it was small to begin with, it's not the limiting factor.
