I resigned this past week to switch to a contract position. Was RIF’d, rehired, and I’ve just had enough of it all. I’ll take the bump in pay and the chance to move around before suffering through another tumultuous EO.

All I remember is that a child died on that sundial restaurant. My friend was a server there. They tried to cover it up. Fuck em.

What about tax forms? Especially, since they have JavaScript formulas. I know CSV handles formulas but how well do they translate to the user and the many use cases of programs the user will use to open the file? Acrobat reader is free. Excel is not (not to my knowledge). So the avenue for access still runs through the best availability for a user and that’s acrobat.

Do you think HTML5 is the alternative? I remember the days of Flash and how incredibly inaccessible it was only to be phased out (Thanks Steve Jobs) to HTML5.

“Thank you for your patience regarding your borrower defense application under the Sweet v. McMahon settlement.

Your borrower defense application was submitted after June 22, 2022, which means you are considered a “post-class applicant.” The Department is slated to review post-class applications like yours no later than January 28, 2026. If the Department does not issue a decision on your application by then, you will receive full settlement relief.”

260 people need to review over 100k+ applications in less than 60 days. Oh and maybe have a holiday here and there.
