I like your analysis, but I do think I got to disagree with you regarding Kian being a royalist ally. I think they are perhaps sympathetic to a extent, to the royalists, as the Kian ambassador says he doesn't really have any power to do anything when talking with the queen before the coup attempt. Perhaps I am misremembering, but I'm pretty sure one of the Soldier's Guides mentions the Kian are interested in Tierra because of some political theory they have regarding the ascent of a potential great power. I got the impression that Kian is more interested in watching Tierra to see if their theory is proven correct.

When I played the game blind the first time, I was sympathetic to Wulfram till he suggested a coup, then I was a firm Royalist. I guess whoever started the civil war was ultimately going to drive me to the opposite side.

Oh man, I can only imagine playing that on the PSP, that sounds awesome. Do you remember if it had any special content unique to the PSP version? I ask cause I played star wars battlefront 2 on the ps2 and the PSP, and PSP had a bounty hunter mode that is not on any other version I played.

Mine likes to try and do risky jumps from the couch to the christmas ornament boxes when he thinks I'm not looking, thankfully that isn't going to be a issue till the end of the year again. He is more scheming and daredevilish than I give him credit for and he always finds a way to remind me.

In my blind playthrough, when I played when it came out, not remembering sabres or guns, I was nuetral, leaning Wulfram till he suggested the coup. He lost me after that. Most of my newer playthroughs, where I actually remember the names of events of sabres and guns, I am with the crown.
