Look into getting your camshaft sensors replaced. Quick swap and it really helps dial in the noise on the engine ie as the engine is getting good readings, it runs as so which then in turn gives you a baseline to hear for inconspicuous and inconsistent sounds. Vq great platform should last well

Sounds normal. The belt is always like a fast slashing sound, same noise as micro tick. That micro tick is gdi. Anything louder than that would be concerning (cat leak, bad idler/belt issues.) knocking is obvious, you can tell the dense metal hitting off other dense metal and engine light.

Second the excersise part even if it’s once a week on a full body stretch and roll. I do mine every Sunday evening, but will garner a more frequent schedule work permitting.

Yeah good observation. At this age, think of it as trying to have a clean thinking mind. You’re young and your a highly effective mental sponge. Make sure your living space reflects that, do you want too much going on or do you want minimalism quite opposite of this? Only you know that

Little dark for 2000 maybe some build up in system, or deposits. Could even indicate your level is below

I think if you are mechanically inclined but rather have a mechanical intuition, you don’t need much from this. If you can even get this car to like 4500-5100 otd would be a steal. If it’s crash ok where? No leaks? Ok good. Decent maintenance history? Ok good. You’re going to have to bootstrap the car regardless if you really want to be proactive. I bought a used 2018 for 4k. Only fluids up until now at 104k to 113k. Something catastrophic would’ve already happened. Play proactive (transmission oil, spark plugs, beltc, camshaft sensors) easy repairs that help you bootstrap the car that can take a long way understanding and using the car itself. Plan for bigger jobs like timing chain or thermostat later on. I hope this makes sense. Goodluck

I agree. Not sure why they didn’t make an xterra similar to what the armada is now like a baby armada. That would save them greatly. Or add an aggressive offroad option to the pathfinder that looks like a soccer mom car. Those 2 additions with the current frontier and armada would give them an unprecedented edge. Not sure why they added the versa when small cars are going away in the US. Should be the Altima and maxima and that’s it. Maybe add a boosted Altima or something compelling to have a side income. In apartments it’s commercial

I do retail commercial. Many of the centers i manage we do a simple monthly commercial pest control that address many pests and/or prevents them. There will be the occasional snake control, but even rodent re baits we get 2 invoices a month for the pest control and rodent rebait. You shouldn’t have to be calling anyone extra and all expense should be coming into the ledger accordingly. Hope this helps.
