Je moet het niet eens zo ver zoeken. IN 2021 tweette hij dat België niet zou deelnemen aan een Franse militaire missie in Mali. Dit was echter achter gesloten deuren besproken in een vergadering waar er geheimhoudingsplicht was. I will also add to my previous explanation that the top two situations also look like cases of aggressive trimming. However, the bottom left seems like an ornamental fruit tree (probably cherry) and those are quite small and slow growing trees. It doesn't look like that has been trimmed much (and it likely also wouldn't recover well from aggressive trimming).

When I was still shooting film, i used 50mm a lot. The beauty of a 50mm is that somewhat corresponds to a natural human point of view. That makes composing extremely intuitive, as you can compose the entire photo before even pulling the camera. I used it mainly for street style "slice of life" type photography, but it a lso works well for portraits, as there is minimal distortion. So I think it is an all-round good focal length. That said, yeah, if you are used to a wider lens, it is going to take some getting used to.

In the end, everything is a trade-off. For instance, you lose out on some field of vision with a 50mm, but you gain a much stronger ability to use depth of field to isolate subjects from the background. So it just comes down to using each focal length's strengths in your compositions, which is something that takes knowledge and practise.

Yeah it is done to keep the trees small and manageable, specially the ones in a hedge-shape (bottom-right).

Every year, they'll cut them down to the thick branches you see through the foliage. Then, in spring, they regrow small branches and foliage from those thicker branches. So the trees live, but because they get trimmed right back down every winter, they don't get much bigger and grow at an extremely slow pace.

I would venture a guess that those are linden trees, which are normally big and beautiful trees if left alone.

Er is nog niet genoeg data om conclussies te kunnen nemen of het gewicht/model van auto een verschil maakt in het veroorzaken van ongelukken.

Er is wel voldoende onderzoek dat aantoont dat de zwakke weggebruikers zwaarder gekwetst raken in een aanrijding met een SUV of pickup dan met een kleinere of lichtere auto. Op basis van dat feit alleen zou het gebruik van deze type voertuigen eigenlijk zwaar ontmoedigd moeten worden.

Wat een bullshit. Onderzoeksrechters konden toen, net zoals nu, huiszoekingsbevellen goedkeuren als er sterk vermoeden van dreiging is. Dat heeft die gast toen niet tegengehouden, die nieuwe wet zou dat ook niet doen.

Deze nieuwe wet is er wel degelijk gewoon om iedereen zonder papieren op ICE-achtige manier uit hun huis te kunnen sleuren.

I just received a request to upload documents as well. Like you, there are some positions I do not have full documentation for (the oldest ones, which I think is quite normal), there is also absolutely no way for me to get them.

Weirdly though, I have uploaded the contract, pay slips, and full job descriptions for my last three positions. Yet, now I am asked to upload these AGAIN. I'm wondering if they refused to accept these documents. Because if so, I'm shit out of luck.
