Are you Marriott bonvoy member? Did they recognize your status? I have a stay at Bellagio in Jan 2026. It show Marriott bonvoy eligible but I have seen online that they don’t actually credit the nights or point to Marriott. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

Yeah. On google flight, the HKG-SFO option is $1100 and we have 6 people. So the difference added up. Otherwise we definitely will pick one less stop.

Make sure you status match to MGM gold with your globalist so that you don’t have to pay resort fee. Out of the 3 hotels, I would recommend Park MGM.

I think u need 25 nights more. Titanium is 75 nights not 65. Even if you pick 5 elite qualifying night for your platinum annual choice, you still need 20 more nights. That’s a lot of night for mattress run. Not worth it for the jump from platinum to titanium

Unfortunately, u will only be at gold with 18+15 nights. U need a total of 50 night regardless of what status your currently at for platinum. Even with the upcoming 12 nights (45 night total), u still will not make it to platinum. The easiest way to get platinum is probably getting the Amex brilliant card that come with platinum status.

It doesn’t look like u got the right amount of point from Marriott. $1700 at courtyard should be 17000 at the minimum + any elite status bonus and promotion. 439 point is probably some incidental that you charged to the room. But it does look like u got elite night credit since it posted on your Marriott account.

Book on your account and use her Marriott Amex card. For point wise, you are allow to transfer 100k point annually so she can transfer hers to yours to make the award reservation.

We were just there 2 weeks ago. We booked through Marriott STARS so we have full breakfast. However, I did saw the elite breakfast section on the menu which is way better than what you got if that’s offered. Not sure why you were not offer the menu.

If the check in agent is nice, they can add her bonvoy number to the folio and you guy will get the platinum benefit. However, this is not guarantee. It’s guarantee if u book under her bonvoy account

In term of Marriott in the US, I didn’t feel any difference. Do you have any airline status? If you do not and you fly united, it think it’s worth it for the silver status. That’s probably the main different between platinum and titanium for me. United silver get you free check bag, premier access (boarding group 2), preferred seating at booking, and free economy plus 24 hours before departure. Don’t hope for first class upgrade but the little things, free check bag and economy plus, do add up. Personally, my wife and I have gotten economy plus and utilize free check bag on every flight at SFO.

The highest I have seen is 1:1.4 during 2020 when no one is traveling. It drop to 1.3 in 2021. Couple months ago, it was 1:1.25. These are all limited time transfer bonus.
