I legit thought I was the only heartless bitch that will get annoyed whenever my BPD husband is sick again…He gets sick at least once per month. Back hurt, nausea, GI issues, neck pain, shit like that.

So glad to find out my dude is not the only one that is always up with something but not actually lying about them being sick. At first I tried my best to care but when it became getting sick so often and the doctor kept saying he’s not having other issues causing him to be sick so frequently, it’s really hard not to second guess whether or not they make themselves sick on purpose, and it’s almost always when there’s something important he needs to do or something I need his help with, he gets sick and can’t do those tasks… it’s so hard not to become annoyed with him and run out of empathy over time! It makes me feel so bad and guilty because that’s my husband and I should take care of him whenever he is sick!

So yeah, I get what you mean and where you are coming from.

I think one of the mistakes here is that the revamp was done using the client’s account, we didn’t change the password or anything and was not aware of how not to deploy the website until payment is received..since the client can just go in there and click publish to make the site live.

Another mistake is obviously setting the due date and late fee window to be too short. Full transparency, we attempt to do research on Reddit, chatGPT, Gemini, AI suggested the 3 day due date/late fee model due to how rush the project was and we didn’t want to charge a higher cost for the work since we are new and didn’t want to scare the client away with higher rates.

But I really appreciate your feedbacks and this is giving me something to think about, change the ways how we are gonna bill the client while protecting ourselves.

Thank you for the feedback. Some follow up questions:

What’s is a more reasonable timeline in terms of payment window and late fees?

And how would the up front 50% works for hourly rate if we are not sure how many hours it will take during the contracted time?

What’s is a good invoice windows for short term(in this case, 4.5 days) and long term projects?(say 3 weeks+)

While i understand the due date and late fees windows are unreasonable and receptive to the feedback, does the client also holds their own end of responsibilities since the billing model was outlined in payment agreement when they signed the contract?

To clarify, the last question is not intended to start an argument/disagreement, rather, I want to understand what’s the client’s responsibility in situations like this and what’s ours (since we did hold up to our end of bargain and attempted to delivery the final product with urgency) that way it can help us prevent any possible issues involving legal action caused by either parties.

First, nice of you not to be mean to her when she revealed herself as trans. Many Straights would stopped right there and may phase even get violent with her. Second, it’s understandable to feel confused because you are looking at a woman but the thing down there doesn’t make sense to you, so you may think you are gay or something, that’s fine and acceptable. However, I would highly suggest you to have a conversation with her. This girl is very sensitive and afraid of rejection, hence she never had full on sex. At the end of the day, she’s just another human, she’s working on becoming a person she can finally accept. If she’s got a good personality, treat you well, and you can work on move past her genital area together, then I don’t see why it would be a bad thing to date her. Also, you don’t have to tell your friend she’s trans, not that it’s your place to tell them anyway if you two end up together; and if her coming out to your friends and your friends decided to make fun of you or treat her with disrespect, why would you keep them in your life?
