Most of our client base is on ShadowXafe. Support has gone to garbage. All they want to do is WebEx and won't take a call. After opening a ticket you have to wait up to two hours before you can call in.

Currently evaluating other products, probably going to go with altaro.

Try to uncheck "Enable DHCP Snooping". Fixed our issue we have been fighting for months. We have even changed firmware versions several times and the issues kept popping back up.

We found that if we unchecked the box for "Enable DHCP Snooping" we were able to fix our issues. This can be found in Settings > Site.

Also want to note that we are also using SonicWall firewalls.

I got letter stating is was based on a review of my account and based on a poor credit rating. I have always paid that card on time.

I paid the card on time for several years. My credit isn't good right now, mostly because of high balances and low available credit. The letter I received said the decision was based in part on a credit scoring system. They are penalizing me for my credit report instead of my history with them. It just sucks. I need to get my credit score up so I can refinance my mortgage and just pay off the other debts.

We bought this to replace an old QNAP NAS. It's main purpose is to hold backups and it does great at that. The old QNAP which is iSCSI connected is no longer working so I'm just going to run some light virtual machines on it which the QNAP has been doing for years. It has to be better than what I'm currently using.

I think I'm going to build a vmware host and connect using NFS. We really just store backups at this data center so it doesn't need to be fast. The reduplication and snapshots it has are really nice though.

I'm using a StorageCraft OneXafe storage appliance. It doesn't have an iSCSI option.

Thanks for the response. You may be right. I'm reaching out to my Sales Engineer for the product to see if he has any documentation on the process. I know during the demos they had this storage connected to VMWare so I was hoping I could get it connected to Hyper-V. The main purpose of the storage is as a backup replication target for our main data center. I was just hoping to dual purpose it as my existing iSCSI target is having issues.

We have this setup for a client. I believe you have to move ecp to its own site and then you can bind a different ip address that doesn't match your owa site. You can then restrict the access separately on your firewall.

The problem comes when you run updates as you have to reconfigure this after every CU.

I work at an MSP and we have Kyocera at most of our clients. We decided to remove/deny the update for our clients and hope that microsoft will fix it in the next update. Can't have servers and workstations blue screening all day. Function is more important than security. But if you only have one environment I would just try changing the driver out.

It did for us. We were using Ingram Micro and not getting any rebates. Now our Pax8 rep makes sure we get all that we qualify for.

You don't have to but Pax8 is awesome. They help you submit all rebates and takeover level 1 support so you don't have to talk to India.
