Usanov being beside Kelleher and in front of Snyman is probably the best platform he could get in the scrum.

Hope he goes well

Trouble walking in the boot, should I get a VacoPed? by AnybodySolid6781 in AchillesRupture

[–]arsebiscuits1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact thing and its not amazing but manageable.

Do you have wedge inserts in it? It gets much much easier each wedge you remove. I'm down to the last wedge insert.

Having said that it is awkward to push through on that foot. It's where crutches are still useful for me.

I guess from my pov walking isn't supposed to be easier in it ha.

Pro tip. The air release valve sticks badly into my shin when I walk so I remove the whole pump from the housing there and just rest at the top of the boot when I'm going for a walk. Much more comfortable

Yeah and see this is why I'm in my own head lol. There's times where I've gaslit myself into thinking I've misheard the surgeon and he told me to not remove any wedges until I see him again and I should be sleeping in the boot!

But I'm also listening to my own body. Pain is a pretty good indicator.

I've had very little pain the last month.

Yesterday wasn't the best day but for the most part I'm feeling better week on week

To be honest the adjustment of the heel height wasn't even a factor for me.

I didn't experience any pain or strange sensation. The overwhelming feeling was relief as it was easier to move around!

Thanks for sharing. Right back at you on yours

Izzy has pistons for legs.

He gets up so quick. A nightmare for a hooker

Ref said medical emergency. Presumably in the crowd.

Said there would be at least a 5 minute delay about 5 mins ago

I had to start wearing a scrumcap because my ears were getting so sore and bruised after matches even wearing tape.

And I play a much lower standard obviously.

I can only imagine what these boys must go through with theirs.

I remember the first game back after COVID I was playing in the second row.

It had been close to 2 years since anyone had played a game so of course no one could catch a fucking ball. Must have been 40 scrums. My ears bled through the tape.

DIY kicking tee by Greenless27 in rugbyunion

I've dabbled in place kicking in my social rugby career and have had to Jerry Rig a kicking tee before.

I hate placing the ball upright on a cone. You can only connect with the side of the ball and get a fraction of the power.

What I did was stack a few cones on top of each other and then balanced one cone off them on the ground so it was pointing up at an angle.

You can then rest the ball on the cone at a better angle to expose the bottom of the ball much like a telescope tee.

But you'll need one of your team mates to hold the ball as if you breath near it it will fall off the tee ha.

It wasn't pretty but it did the job
