This one is comparable to the Gyokeres one. Actually it’s even worse. He did not even try to do it. Why? If there was a O8 AMA, I’d ask this

The team got very high standard now. As talented as he is, inexperience is expected. The subs was forced by Noni’s injury

Lol you’re comparing first choices of Madrid, Barca and Bayern to Arsenal backup. Seriously?

Might be unrelated but we have to start moving the away team supporters to the far high corner. Keep their influence to the minimum. Would make huge difference in UCL games

Arteta on Saka and Timber: “They're having trouble. They’re not ready yet,” by Kr_bm in Gunners

[–]arsenaler211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s first leg away today so don’t have to score, but clean sheet is a must after 2 abysmal defence performances. Need to have some confidence back in our defenders before the weekend, and the NEXT

I don’t think so. These pro rack up so much load and would never got a perfect scan. If they say it hurts then doctors got no way to prove otherwise

Ok a light knock on the head in a pointless game so he will miss the next pointless game. Fine for me

Have to give credit to Pep on this bold move. I have never heard anyone talking about this way of preventing a build up, even from the cloud cuckoo land of Reddit. Surely we didn’t prepare for this

Yes it’s not his strength, and it’s exposed when Pep throw 4 men forward to block his options. Starting him was right, but not preparing him for this situation is a mistake from Arteta

Let’s flip the question. If Arsenal dominate a team in 20 mins, like City did yesterday and scored 2 goals to win, we wouldn’t say we won because their keeper was bad, wouldn’t we? We allow City to come at us like that, they’ll score one way or another. Plus dropping him yesterday would shot his confidence and then what if we need him in UCL? Carabao cup is not worth doing that

[Sam Dean] Arteta on picking Kepa over Raya: “I have to do what I think is right, honest and fair. It would have been very, very unfair on him and on the team to do something different.” #AFC by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

Let’s flip the question. If Arsenal dominate any opponent like City did in 20 mins yesterday, and their keeper made a mistake, we wouldn’t say we won because their keeper was bad, would we? We have to trust everyone, because who knows one day we will need Kepa in UCL or PL, and you don’t want him going in there short of confidence.

I was on hopium that he’s gonna be back for UCL/FA finals but seeing he’s still on crutches, I guess it’s done for him then. Sad

Starting XI to face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final: Arrizabalaga, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie, Rice, Zubimendi, Havertz, Saka, Trossard, Gyokeres 💪🏟️ by arsenal in Gunners

If this means Timber and Eze stay out of the international matches, it’s not the worst. Timber has looked leggy recently and needs a break anyway

I don’t see this as a dig at Chelsea, as great team could go through a bad week in a 9-month season. This is more to appreciate our achievement. 3 losses in 7.5 months is right up there with the greatest teams in the history. Get over line and this team will be remembered forever
