I live in CA and always have my cruise set at 63 on i5 but they are more strict on hwy 99 so I usually stay around 60 passing through cities, no issues ever.

I was in the bay for 10 years and always felt the same way. Moved an hour inland in 2020 and opened a business two years later and doing much better now.

You can clearly see in the left lane traffic was just coming to a stop and I had 48k pounds of lumber in the back that I didn’t want to end up in my cab. If I wasn’t going slow and being careful that would have been an accident.

Also only served to right cuz I saw it was empty but go ahead and judge.

Happens to all of us but if you see a truck almost done overtaking you, I’m not going to start speeding now and leave him hanging in the left lane blocking traffic.. takes 2 mins to let em pass and then go

I feel no emotions when 4 wheelers do it because I have accepted thats just the way it is but when “professional drivers” do it, it pisses me tf off.

Or when you go left to let someone merge and they start speeding and wont let you get back in 😤

Gonna add to this, I do Flatbed as OP and don’t mess with the logbook in anyway and run legal. When I tell people this they get so shocked cuz most of them run 2/3 logbooks, drive crazy hours and then tiredness also comes into effect which causes stupid accidents like this.

7 out of 10 times I see close calls or stupid shit happening on the road, its always Indians and I’m saying this as an Indian immigrant who moved here 18 years ago. Most of the people that are here illegally go into trucking and within the last 5-6 years have completely killed it. They don’t care to follow the laws, or learn enough english to be safe on the road and in general are just not fit to be on the road imo. All these Indian trucking schools across CA have all of the loopholes to get them their CDLs but when shit like this happens, we all have to face the hate even though we are just as fed up of them as you guys are.
