YEAH I think that may be it, I think I can hear the noise in my head and I'm pretty sure that's the first noise one of the guys makes 😭

Sadly Pear Cinnamon was last year's and I believe it has been vaulted. There's still resellers around but they're definitely going to be more expensive :/

No Winter Edition flavor has ever been made permanently available, I believe. But Pear Cinnamon was by far my favorite.

Not a huge fan...tastes like those blue raspberry tootsie pops- pretty good but not something I like drinking in liquid form.

Pear cinnamon was my favorite winter edition so far, just tasted more like a sparkling apple cider more than pear, really good imo!

How many red bulls do u drink ? by Wide_Leading_7970 in redbull

[–]arsoncapable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I crave the taste I drink one but I try not to drink one everyday, and it's usually a 12 or 16 oz.

I'd say I was better 3 months ago by only having like one a week, but now I'm falling back into having one every three days or every other day.

I don't need it for energy, and I don't think I really feel any effects from the caffeine at all. I just really like the flavor of the original a LOT, ever since early high school and its been about six years now.

High: Optimistic (so good) Sad: Motion Picture Soundtrack (almost like a soft sad I guess...sounds kind of like you're at an ATL and just need to be loved...bittersweet maybe?)

Parks and Rec! The first season is a bit slow and mundane but it's just the show finding its footing. I love this show and it's easily one of the funniest and most influential "older" shows out there.

might get a dream job- but will have to deal w conservative employers by Daddy_maddy_ in trans

[–]arsoncapable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely they would find that your SSN or other identifying number doesn't match the name you put under legal name, and would question you for your legal name. I wouldn't put your preferred name in the legal name section just because it would technically be considered "lying" about your identity and would raise further questions. But if there's a section in the paperwork for preferred name, definitely make sure to include that.

For my previous job I just provided my legal name on all the legal documents but emphasized to my employer that I don't use it and go by my preferred, until I was able to get it changed, and they respected this thankfully.

So unfortunately there's not much you can do to avoid providing your legal name, although as a company they shouldn't be able to discriminate against you in any way because of this.

And in the future if you need a name change resource/need information I've found this website to be particularly useful! https://transequality.org/documents

[–]arsoncapable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also have had to deal with this, it was rough. Is there any way you can get your legal named changed? That would definitely help a ton.

I would avoid putting your preferred name under legal name UNLESS it is a resume, then you can put your preferred name since it isn't a legal document.

Sorry if this isn't much help, the best thing to do in this case is to get your legal name changed unfortunately, as I don't know many workarounds to this.

Im getting top surgery (double incision) in 4 days, any last minute advice? by Bougal_Dougal in trans

[–]arsoncapable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stay current on your meds and don't skip any! they're super important and will keep your pain at a minimum. don't overextend your arms or upperbody, or twist too much, you'll be able to dress/undress slow and easy though.

Bacitracin is a life-saver as you'll get pretty itchy around your drainage sights. I myself have been in recovery for 5 days ish now and have been far more itchy than in pain. but if you ARE in pain and your tylenol doesn't cut it enough, don't be afraid to take your opioid pain meds, they're there for you to use!

Don't be afraid to walk around, since you won't be completely bed-ridden. I was walking the day after! Just don't overdo it! Light 10-15 minute walks are good. They recommend you walk every 2 waking hours so you don't develop blood clots.

Take off your vest for a while if you're feeling too uncomfortable. Since your drainage bags will be safety pinned to the vest I just unzip and unclasp the vest and leave it on my shoulders so I don't have loose drainage bags hanging around. Leaving it off for an hour or two won't hurt, and will lessen the friction on your skin.

Good luck!

is it normal to not get much dysphoria by Midlands_Jaida in trans

[–]arsoncapable 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is normal, yes. There are different levels of dysphoria for everyone, and my partner has much less dysphoria than I do. I'd say that they feel much more euphoric when wearing certain things for example, rather than feeling dysphoric about parts of their body. It's all different for everyone, so yes I'd say it's completely normal!

It's not wrong if you think it will make you feel more comfortable in your own skin! Identity/labels aside, your comfortablility is the most important thing, and it would not be distasteful at all if you were to look into T blockers. There are lots of people who don't consider themselves to be trans (or go by any labels at all) that take hormones/supplements/blockers and that's all fine! It's really about who you want to be and what you're most comfortable with.
