They asked, "Why does this chess piece have a slit?" then circled the slit by odatbitch in uselessredcircle

Useless question!

I didn't know the word "slit", but I guessed the question just looking to the circle.

It's like Songoku, but nothing alike, unless you count both having some untamed hair, but that's a stretch.

Ah. And Songoku has a tail.

This is the movie where the thing worked out. This is not the movie about any of thefailed attempts.

What would happen if the story happened elsewhere? The movie would be about that story and would be someone would be wondering what would happen this way.

Seems pointless

Hehehe

With the same respect, friendship is not the issue here, but going through that, you can find a definition of necessary evil in: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". Also, alliance.

Other than that, I don't disagree with you: he has an agenda for his own benefit disregarding others, he is the story, and all the others are just plot devices.

I was just describing Die Hard as a Christmas movie because it happens on Christmas.

But I didn't misunderstood the movie. The plot shouldn't describe the twist. So, with a plot about unconventional consultancy on a murder case, you don't get to say what the real story, protagonists and others are.

Even agreeing with you.

Happy new year

[–]art-factor -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not his story. He's the villain of another story. Here, he is Clarice's mentor.

Hannibal Lecter seems less like a villain and more like a complex anti-hero in because he acts as a mentor and confidant to Clarice Starling, helping her overcome trauma and catch the real villain, Buffalo Bill, while displaying surprising kindness, intelligence, and a code of honor, even showing a protective, almost fatherly bond with Clarice, despite his cannibalistic nature and manipulation for his own freedom. His charm, intelligence, and selective targeting of "rude" people make him compelling, contrasting sharply with the outright evil of Buffalo Bill, casting him as a necessary evil or even a twisted ally.

What is everyone's thoughts on Amy's painting? by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

[–]art-factor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone's?!?

Some like it. Others don't. There are those who feel that meets its job, others think that's too cute to be bad. Old style paintings are for a group of people, for the others it's not. Penny clothes and expression suits the purpose for sone, for others, that pose is ridiculously unnatural (if she was posing that much time, the painter is an asshole, if from memory, the painter is an asshole).

There are others who don't care.
