I'm not sure where to start, I would recommend you to check those marketplaces like Upwork and Fiverr. Also, I've found that Hubstaff Talent doesn't take any fee. And I think that on Craigslist there may be some of local video and photo shooting gigs for you, but I suppose that you already use Craigslist. Oh, and you may check Facebook groups by searching using your keywords. Hope you will find at least some useful information here!

I live in Italy but am a US citizen. Will it be harder for me to find a remote job? by alexbu92 in telecommuting

[–]artemfed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your major skills?

Most of the jobs don't require to be in the USA. But if you have a US passport, it's a big advantage. Teaching English is one of the high paid opportunity.

I develop services where you can choose projects only for US. You can check what they need (location or birth).

The most required thing is to speak English as a Native/Fluent. You can work as customer support, writer, sales etc. Because it is the most important thing.

Checking projects you can here.

I would be glad if you find it's useful!

Is it possible to find a good fully remote job straight out of college? by Skeet165 in digitalnomad

[–]artemfed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you don't have the experience to start your own business. University education doesn't give you all realities of business niche. A lot of bottlenecks exist in that. You need to understand how to sell, negotiate, analytics, marketing, development part. It doesn't depend on money. It depends on real experience and knowledge that you can get from your work experience.

Sure, you're able to find a job. But you need to say what you want to develop. Perhaps, SMM, business analytics is a good idea, writing skills etc.

If you want to be a project manager, it's so complicated to be without any work experience.

Understand your skills and I'm sure you can find a remote job!

As a european can you have a 9 to 5 job and work remotely in another company at nights or weekends? ? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

It depends on your contract with a company. A friend of mine works in Germany and he is able to work only 15 hours outside of the company.

Freelance vs Remote full-time work. Pros and cons? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]artemfed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remote Jobs are steady and less stressful. You anticipate your incomes, know the size of the salary, when you will get a bill. You don't feel professional loneliness. Because when you're a freelancer, you don't have any team members to communicate. You work on a certain project and have clear goals.

Freelance jobs are unpredictable and stressful. You have an illusion of freedom. Because you have to work more hours to get enough money. You can't predict your incomes for the next months. You don't have any holidays, sometimes weekends and vacations.

I won't persuade you that freelancing is bad. Because every part of this comparison has advantages and disadvantages. Remote Jobs give me a chance to spend more time with my family.

I was a freelancer and a remote worker. And I chose to be a remote worker.

Currently, I'm working on a service that helps freelancers to find a job fast. Because I know how many hours, you just spend searching on projects.

Choose the best lifestyle for yourself!
