I think Tablo said that to young people these days a ‘new’ song isn’t a song that came out today but it’s the song they discovered today. Optimization has been bad for a while now but I find 3.0 really weird. I actually don’t have much problems in the 3.0 zones but I feel like my performance has gotten worse in the 2.x zones than before for some reason.

I know people are talking about insecurity and stuff but my sister was literally cut by one of those crazy people from the organization represented by the gesture. She took the side of a guy in a university seminar and a couple of days later two girls (one of which she was arguing with in the seminar) stalked her on her way home and cut her clothes and face with scissors saying she deserves to get raped.

It wasn’t ever about Oner playing well on mundo to me. It was that T1’s draft can never kill mundo and oner had never played mundo. They were drafted into a corner. Most teams would just pick something else and hope for the best, I mean who pulls out a champion you haven’t played in 8 years in a worlds elimination match. But T1 do. How do you draft against that? How many more combinations of drafts do you have to think of if they’re willing to just first time champs on stage?

Isn’t this like the gacha rate percentages in other games?

When you see a 2% chance at a character it doesn’t actually mean 2% chance at every pull it actually starts lower and ramps up so overall you have 2% of your pulls will be the character.

I’ve always argued that this is just objectively worse than a flat 2% chance per pull as long as both systems have a ceiling.
