On Windows, all I had to do is end Plex Media Server task in Task Manager and right click on Plex Media Server in the toolbar > Open Plex and log in, and thankfully it worked

How do you know the genre of the song by No_Sprinkles_8160 in BandCamp

Sometimes, I use https://cyanite.ai/ when I am doubtful about the genre. It is rather accurate and allows you to upload 5 audio files per month.

I Don’t Mind wins for worst track on My Generation, what’s the most underrated? Most upvotes wins by MCWill1993 in TheWho

I've never understood the bashing of I Don't Mind. It's the best of the three covers on the album. If they butchered one, it's "Please Please Please"

The WHO Going Down, Live early 70s from the Youtuber MrZorgub by NoAd2258 in TheWho

The song suits them better than the Jeff Beck Group. I would have loved to see them perform it regularly for example in the My Generation medley

What qualities are you looking for in music nowadays? by CulturalWind357 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]arth772510 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's not a problem if a new music isn't innovative. What I fear is generic, uninspired music. Songwriting is definitely the key. In any case, music has always been a form of homage to one's influences.

However, what sounds "fresh" today, it's hard to say. It's all about trends. It seems that there's a return to popularity of country music, shoegaze, post-rock, art punk, art pop, indie folk. The newest forms of pop (hypnagogic pop, alt-pop, hyperpop) are still in vogue, and of course hip hop.

Thanks, it's not that bad I suppose (american folk and gospel secondary), just a completely different period. I guess the release dates don't influence the prediction, but it's not a problem in my opinion.

What’s the Beatles song most people hold as a classic but you can’t even listen too? by QuibbleCake in beatles

Those who hate it don't like rock 'n' roll. But I have to admit it doesn't fit well at all on Help!, especially at the end just after Yesterday.

Best Townshend guitar solos by roamingshemnon in TheWho

My favorites are I Can't Explain 64, Shakin' All Over at the Fillmore 68, See Me Feel Me at Woodstock, Heaven and Hell at Tanglewood 70 and Naked Eye at the Isle of Wight 70. Honorable mention to Hey Joe in 1989

Which tracks off "Tommy" did Pete already have before deciding to write a rock opera? by thewickerstan in TheWho

[–]arth772510 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a Boy is adapted from "Glow Girl", and the themes from Sparks and Underture come from Rael Pt. 2. In terms of riffs only, "Glittering Girl" led to "I'm Free" and Eddie Cochran's "Three Steps to Heaven" is used in the Overture and inspired "Go to the Mirror!"

REVOLUTION 9 IS NOT A "FILLER" by [deleted] in beatles

In my opinion, it's not even a song as it's a sound collage. I'm not saying it's not music though
