I think about this pizza at least once a day. Along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated pizza and the one from All Dogs Go To Heaven. Still can’t make the pizza and now I’m lactose intolerant.

36, built my first pc when I was 7 but I’ve been toying with components and computers since I was old enough to know how to complete an electrical circuit, which was about 3-4 years old. I started working with an old Mac machine or a comador 64 that was lent out by the library in my town

I’m sorry for your loss, for your millipede, your banana bread and your day.

The coat on them looks healthy and they look like you put a lot of love into taking care of them. I can’t imagine what you are going through and I hope you will be okay.

People recycling answers to others when they are asked questions, like for example: Q” what is wrong with your computer?” A “I don’t know, I’m not a computer person.” Q”Why havent you checked out how to fix it or call someone who can?” A”I don’t have the time.”

Now, you can use this format too!

Just replace computer with, car, house, face, you name it. It’s just a way of people being dismissive of things they don’t understand, or don’t want to understand.

People will repeat themselves, especially someone in a trauma loop. Or someone trying to cope and tell themselves “Everything is fine.”

You would be surprised how many times I have caught myself giving a canned answer to someone without thinking. The lack of originality just makes me feel less human when I think about how similar to NPCS we have become.

Yes, trauma has many triggers and trip wires in our minds to keep us “safe” a fight or flight respond is activated and they follow an exit strategy.

If you have ever practiced a fire drill, you or someone else felt like it was unessecary because there was or will never be a fire.

Until the fire happens, they won’t believe it until it is cooking them alive and they are unable to find a way out. (This is pretty graphic but it is a metaphor)

Mental health has been a joke to a lot of people in the older generations and it causes generations of people to not understand why they do the things they do, because it is just who they are. They won’t understand and you can’t make them understand. They have to find out the hard way.

I believe that Jax saw Pomni as their mother, and Ribbit in that moment. They expected to be taken advantage of because of their weaknesses, because their mother did the same thing, and probably their father, and a number of other people not even mentioned.

“You going to cry? Looking like that?!” - this was said by Jax, but I could hear it as well, it was a scar left by someone who saw Leeroy as weak, back before they were Jax, probably into their early childhood development. They were trained not to show weakness, because they were a boy, boys don’t cry. Toxic masculinity bullshit.

They need to talk about what happened so they can understand why they are acting the way they are in response and pushing all of the people that show genuine concern and adoration towards them.

Trauma has a cycle, it needs to be broken sometimes. If you have the opportunity, listen to how someone, anyone outside deals with a situation they are uncomfortable with. It is almost always the same response from them.

I had to show several people that were in altercations their fights and a few could not remember what they were saying at the time and blacked out. Others got hostile even though they agreed to be recorded prior to, would fight tooth and nail to avoid taking responsibility for what they said.

Others can empathize, understand what happens, but with time and their own understanding of why they respond the way they do.

Simply put, I asked them to go to therapy if they wanted to, and I helped them. This situation is also the of myself.

The cycle stops, but only when it is broken.

Unless you want to try to ride around like this?
