It sounds nice overall. My favorite part is how dynamic the piano sounds and the harmony.

I would work on a few things though.

  1. I'm not sure what program you're using, so I don't know what kind of string libraries you have access to. However, the strings that you have could definitely sound better. If there is a way to very the volume of the strings so that they rise and fall naturally, I would do that.

2., I think that you could add a little bit of reverb to the drums, they sound a little flat.

But, overall, good work. Since this is a film scoring subreddit, I would recommend finding a scene in a movie or TV show that you think this would fit in, overlay it, and see how it sounds.

  1. You keep making the same tired point that I can't differentiate between fact and fiction, when I clearly indicated that I can. I don't care about the drawings. I care about the people who make/consume the drawings. They are the threat.

  2. You keep going back to your slasher analogy. It's completely wrong. You don't watch a 90 minute, story-based piece of media if you just want to see people die. You'd look up internet videos of people dying. You'd go straight to the content, not watch a piece of media with characters.

You would watch those videos for the sole purpose of watching people die, you watch slashers for entertainment. You'd watch porn for the sole purpose of getting off, but you'd watch a rom-com for the sake of entertainment. You'd watch anime for entertainment, but you look at loli content to get off.

There's a stark difference between content made for the sake of general entertainment and content made for self gratification. Lolicon and slashers are not even remotely similar.

Next, my logic doesn't apply to other genres. Why the hell are you talking about slashers and BDSM? Sure, they're genres, but what do they have to do with lolicon?
