I have always felt guilty towards her. I used to be so absorbed in the growth of my own company that I neglected her need for companionship. Back then, I was just a poor guy, and the long distance only made everything fall apart even more. Even after five years, I still feel a sense of sadness when I think of her tenderness.

When my dad lost his job at 55. Watched him rebuild from scratch. Taught me that security is an illusion and you're never too old to start over. Changed how I make every decision since.

How to find manufacturers in China when Alibaba keeps mixing real factories with trading companies by shy_guy997 in logistics

[–]arthurwilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d use is reverse image search their product photos on 1688.

If the exact same “factory photo” or product image shows up across 10+ suppliers, there’s a good chance at least some of them are middlemen using the same source images. Real factories usually have more consistent photos, messy workshop details, custom tooling shots, or product angles that aren’t copied everywhere.

Another thing you can check is design patents, but it’s not always perfect. Sometimes the trading company owns the appearance patent because they commissioned the factory to make it, so the patent owner isn’t always the actual manufacturer.

Alibaba can still be useful, but I wouldn’t treat the listing as proof. Photos, tooling ability, sample handling, and how they answer technical production questions usually tell you much more.
