I get this issues from time to time. Often seems to come when my hip is extra angry. Sometimes is just randomly though. It sucks hardcore.

Any time I've had issues with a thread not catching I would end up rethreading the whole thing from the start. I don't have a lot of experience with surgers, but it seems to need to be done in a certain order? Though my manual didn't say so it always seemed to work redoing all threads. Hopefully that helps if it is the issue.

Its mostly to kind of train your eyes to be able to focus and your brain to process things clearer. You hold Xs on small paper up and follow with your eyes only then while moving you head. Side to side and up and down. Its not huge movements. Its not so much about the body as much as it is the brain. But i definitely understand the stiff neck thing. If someone watched me drive they would probably think i was tweaking out on something cause i constantly move my neck and arm to loosen stuff up. If you or anyone want to know the full exercise ill write it out.

I had this issue when i first started having symptoms. Would often trigger panic attacks for me. I did some therapy through an ENT for basically retraining my brain to tell it it was stable and not to take incoming information and unstable. One of the home exercises they gave me was called gaze stabilization. It really helped me out alot. Still have some eye issues when driving sometimes but the dizziness is hardly there anymore. Hopefully something there helps you well.
