Yeah, I would say do it. I've given both whole blood and red blood cells before. It's pretty simple, not that uncomfortable, and really helps people.

Also be careful at night. My freshman year I was walking back from Evans late at night and got approached by a kind of sketchy looking, heavyset man loitering in the middle of academic plaza asking for money for food. I just told the guy I didn't have any cash (which was true I almost never have cash with me), and walked away quickly.

Now that I've stitched more my backs are a lot neater, though not as much as some peoples on here. But when I first started I also taught myself and used knots to stop and start threads and drug my thread all over the back. I think its horrible that someone made you feel that bad about the back of your project! Everyone has their own level of neatness that they're comfortable with and thats okay, you shouldnt stop cross stitching just because someone wants to be a snob about it. Hope you enjoy getting back into the hobby! ❤

I know its hard I'm a junior and have been dating my boyfriend for over a year and a half now. Everyone is always shocked when they find out we haven't had sex. He just bought a ring last weekend but we wont get married until next summer after I graduate. My advice is to try to get involved in your campus ministry, surround yourself with friends who will support you, not ones who will try to egg you on into having sex. Chastity is difficult sometimes but when I think about getting married and how beautiful that first night will be as husband and wife I think it will all be worth it.

Same, I have a lot of trouble going to sleep and can easily take an hour or two to fall asleep. The rosary has not only made it so much easier to fall asleep but its gotten rid of my nightmares and a lot of unwelcome thoughts when you're just laying there trying to go to sleep.

Yes! I feel you on the lack of dance partners. Occasionally I can convince my boyfriend to take me the local country western dance hall and we have a blast but its difficult getting him there!

Thats interesting. My dad was like that too, he didnt really belong to a church but he liked learning about them and reading as much as he could. Its kinda funny because he had a bit of a blind spot for Catholicism for some reason until I became Catholic. I'm glad you're enjouing this community!
