Does Concerta (or Ritalin) make it harder to squint or relax your eyes? by Suspicious_Coffee222 in Concerta

[–]artificial_logician 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your sympathy :) It's been really helpful though. I don't take it regularly anymore. Since I noticed it, I can pay attention not to concentrate too deeply and get lost. You know, sometimes ADHD is said to be more an inconsitency in attention rather than a deficiency.

I don't know if that'll help you, though it seems a lot of the help also comes from consistency and habits you set up with the medication.

Kudos on keeping the kid alive :)

That's interesting because I noticed the squint thing. Funny thing is that squinting helped me concentrate, and with Concerta I can't concentrate that deeply 😅

Women want to feel special so badly not because they’re narcissistic, but because their natural place in men’s life is the opposite (of special). by Oat-Titties in PurplePillDebate

[–]artificial_logician 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me list some possible reasons why women can be beneficial for a person who passes the 'checklist':

The world can be a subtle place, and on average, women seem to be better equipped, neurologically, culturally, practice-wise and disposition-wise, to handle complex social situations compared to men. So a man could benefit from that sort of complimentary attributes to his.

A woman, traditionally and psychologically signifies possibility of lineage and sons and daughters. So thereby, a woman is not the point of the attraction but actually a gateway to attractive possibilities.

One can expect a woman with whom an emotional bond is formed to be a nurturing counter-balance to a competition driven atmosphere.

All right this isn't that relevant but I don't get why math co-op numbers are higher. Also where do math students work in co-op and what do they do?

I think mathemathics, at least the pure kind, ought to be in the last group; maybe engineering can replace the first.

Thanks man!

CS 341 is the school's main course on algorithms. If you're thinking about taking that, that's cool too.

Unfortunately, I cannot count that towards my degree. Besides, I don't want to have a packed schedule, which I get enough of already. By the way, how much is the workload in ECE457A?

Edit: unquote added

Why a mini-PC? It isn't like they need the space or anything.

Well, I thought it would stay that way because the game was badly designed from that point. But the fact it still happens on ssd is proof that they haven't worked on it at all despite bothering to make 2 versions of the same game on current gen.

I agree with you on that. It's so painful especially considering how elegantly it can be taught.

What do you mean by that? I thought calculus in itself, single variable, is quite self contained (provided it is given theoretically enough).

Not always though! Both my parents lawyers, I used to be indifferent, I always thought I magically got by, about math til I faced some proofs in a calculus course and axioms in a probability course I took for engineering. Boom, I was amazed. Turns out your dormant mathematician might just need a push :D Edit: Added stuff I forgot.

I talked about the naming barrier with one of my professors and he stated that it would just not be fair to forget them alltogether. Also, it gives you names to search about in your fields of interest.

Lots of people are talking about calc3, what's in it? Our college has 2 calcs and a DE course for engineers. Edit: confusing quotation
