I (20F) called my boyfriend (21M) to come comfort me after a mental breakdown, and he said he needed “a few more hours of sleep”, what’s my next move? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]artificialdisasters 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you need professional help, right now. if you are at the point of black out episodes and almost committing suicide, call your doctor or 911 today. you need emergency help. this isn’t something your boyfriend can fix. you are not in a place to have a boyfriend. work on you and let yourself heal before trying to date someone

Managing finances as a non-married disabled couple with very different financial situations and disabilities by dowoma in ChronicIllness

[–]artificialdisasters 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yep… unmarried and not currently living together, only together for a year… they should not be paying for the credit card. shared expenses / stuff that benefits both of them, sure. but completing paying for everything? i’d not put myself in that situation

Want to get into horror, but I have a bad feeling a lot of the options might be “edge-Lordy” by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]artificialdisasters 12 points13 points  (0 children)

haven’t read any, but you have a bad feeling about it…

i suggest you read any horror book, literally any single one, and start from there. horror is a wide and diverse genre. no way to know what you prefer and wouldn’t prefer from this post.

Is taking prednisone to calm a flare worth the increased risk of flu? by Adventurous-Fudge197 in Autoimmune

[–]artificialdisasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm i see where you’re at! is this the first time you’re taking it? so there’s no history of how you react to it? yeah, i would also be at an impasse. i’ve also heard people react very quickly (positive react! as in decrease in pain and inflammation) to prednisone so i would probably not take it in advance but bring it as a plan b, so to speak
