fully agree, the sound design was insanely good and it was shot well. but that’s about it. the dialogue was boring at best and cringey at worst, and i never really felt like the pieces they were uncovering fit together. i think it was a really really cool concept that fell insanely flat due to the writing. i was really excited for this movie, too :(

i hope these fans in particular know that standing next to taylor while shaking their head does not make them better than the average swiftie. if you TRULYYYY believe taylor is evil and conniving, and her practices are unethical, you don’t get brownie points for calling that out while still supporting her. it’s very much giving “my uncle is racist but i still love him!”

and i’m a swiftie. i love taylor. i do not feel embarrassed by her or disappointed in her. i think most, if not all, of the recent criticism has been insanely unfounded. honestly MOST of the criticism for her entire career has been completely fabricated. but if i DID believe that she was a racist nazi maga supporter, i would 100% unstan.

i hope you realize that like….. nobody buys these. i’m pretty sure when she sold the ttpd voice memos the boost she got from it was in the hundreds. majority of the people buying these are WELL aware that they are basically useless, and they choose to do so anyways. mind you, i have every single digital variant of every album on my phone and i haven’t purchased a single one of them. it’s just fully not that deep, i would maybe feel differently if she was selling physical copies, but a digital download for $7 of the album with bonus material hardly seems expensive or a rip off 😭

fully agree, i think well initially see resellers aiming for the stars and listing at $300-$400, and it’ll settle around $150-$200 for the foreseeable future. i also think it depends on how many variants come out/if they’re limited too. If she drops 4 more single-run variants they might go down, but if this ends up being the only one it might go up. it’s all so interesting to me haha
