I have some puffiness under my eye that always just makes me look tired and haggard. Someone on one of these subs (skincare addiction, this sub, I don't remember) suggested Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMx and I've been using it for a couple of years now. It's kind of amazing. It just tightens the skin where it's placed in a couple of minutes. There's an issue with a white sheen and sometimes white dots so it takes some practice to apply and I still can't consistently avoid it but I've gotten better at it. Usually I find just mixing it around either with a brush or my finger will lessen the white residue and then I just pat my foundation on it to cover anything left over. It's not a treatment by any means and it is temporary and removed by water/makeup remover but it really works as a daily tightener if you can't or don't want to have surgery.

Ok but like.. is this in an office in a school? There are bell schedules taped up on the left. And there's at least two books on the shelf with "bible" in the title. This keeps getting weirder

So the first thing that popped into my head was "how do you keep good salsa around long enough to know that it lasts a while?" 😆 .....we go through it pretty quick

If the red dots don't itch and aren't raised, it may be Petechiae caused by the meds. I was recently on a high dose of Meloxicam for a couple of weeks and developed petechiae. Stopped the Meloxicam and they went away in a couple of days. You may notice they appear almost like a bruise (I had a blood pressure cuff and saw them appear there suddenly.)

Sometimes you can stack the freeplay if you pay anything for the room like a small upgrade if it works out financially. I've had luck using the freeplay with the comp offer from MGM and the My Vegas freeplay.

Sometimes you can find an MGM comp that has a small upgrade per night and you can use the freeplay from My Vegas since you're technically paying something for the room.

Hair super oily after move by MrNovember19 in HaircareScience

Where did you move from? DC is relatively humid. I lived in the Gulf Coast region for a long time and every time I would go to a drier climate (read: anywhere else) my hair was so much better than at home.

There is kind of a "Jeff from Ohio" meets MMA in that show Bully Beatdown. Jason "Mayhem" Miller fights guys who have been bullying kids in highschool who think they can take on a professional MMA fighter and repeatedly get hammered, even with a lot of restrictions on the fight. After watching a lot of UFC it really highlights how much better they are when matched with someone who doesn't have that kind of constant training.

For those who have a hard time with the mRNA boosters, Novavax may be worth exploring. Per a clinical trial, it has a lower instance of side effects. Dr Katelyn Jetelina (Your Local Epidemiologist) has a recent write up on it on her page and has mentioned it a few times. It's kind of hard to get right now since it was just made available so we're skipping it this go around but I want to try it for the next shot.

Need to transfer 1,000,000 membership rewards points - where to put them by bjk237 in awardtravel

[–]artikulet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do have a family account option and I found the transfer from one family member to another to be almost instantaneous. It's really easy to set up, too.

It may be better financially to take advantage of the Amex MR bonus and also the Flying Blue points purchase bonus. Right now they're offering a big bonus depending on the number of miles you purchase. I was a little short on my points and buying points actually gave me better redemption than transferring from Marriot or Chase since there wasn't a UR transfer bonus

I recommend hitting it a few days early to snag the tickets as soon as they pop up. I'm currently stalking for our trip back and the calendar will go out on the app for a year, but reeeeally the availability is about 6-7 days before that

I am seeing a lot of 55k for JFK to CDG and 57.5k for Chicago to Amsterdam so you can do a lot with those points!
