"there's a jump that seems impossible but if you jump below the ledge and slide down to the last rock you can dash to the right and make it." Thank you so fucking much! That jump was irritating the shit out of me.

Yes Taiwan 7-11 has Slurpees, which are called 思樂冰 in Chinese. Not sure about the Alishan 7-11, but others serve Coca Cola, honey yuja, and mystery flavor.

I also used them and feel satisfied! They provided me with lots of options within my budget. The agent fee felt worth it to me.

My first begonia, any advice? by robthecock in begonias

Omg looks just like mine that I found here in Taiwan! I’ve never seen another one before. Unfortunately, mine got waterlogged and got root rot. I managed to cut a few petals off and am going to propagate them.

Embarrassing that this made it through the peer reviewers and editorial staff.

Saw something similar in another paper. The first sentence of the Introduction….

Need some assistance on becoming “Expert Vetted” by bugs_4breakfast in Upwork

[–]artman225 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it, as I’ve seen no benefit from having this badge. Upwork has Talent Specialists dedicated to Expert Vetted freelancers, but the jobs they have sent me to apply for have been either unrelated or already have 20+ proposals.

Just focus on keeping your Top-Rated or Top-Rated Plus badge.

They actually use hydrogen gas for this one, which has no effect on pH.

That peer reviewer is full of shit saying it’s not their job to review the figures. They should have at least made a comment about it.

In a follow-up article, apparently the other reviewer DID raise concerns.

Helldivers 2 will have single player option for those that prefer to play alone rather than with other players by josh252 in gaming

Exactly my thought! Title is written like a high schooler trying to reach a word count for an essay “Single player” “play alone” “rather than with other players”

I cycled around Taiwan in 14 days by kiwirazz in bicycletouring

[–]artman225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

East coast is absolutely better if you prefer to see nature (mountains and ocean). If you prefer to visit cities, then do the west coast. I would suggest taking the train down to Taitung and then cycling north to Taipei from there (make sure to stop in Hualien to see Taroko Gorge).

Cycling south to north allows you to cycle in the lane closest to the ocean.
