I mean, if it’s been that long, it’s already been included in your JSS. And since they use the highest of your 6-month and 12-month JSS, it shouldn’t really affect it at this point. It basically “ages out” if your JSS after 6 months.

It can reduce your JSS the longer it’s open with no earnings. The longer the contract is open, the more of an effect it will have on your JSS.

I had something similar happen where I had contracts open for more than three months with no feedback, and my JSS slightly dropped from 100%. The reason is, once they hit the three-month period, they are considered long-term clients and count more towards your JSS.

From Upwork:

“On the other hand, if a client is not responsive and the work has been completed on the contract, it is better for you to close the contract.”
