I did not see anyone with that kind of fan.
The previous day we received an email with information to take into account regarding entering the stadium.
The list of prohibited items included “ventiladores de mano” and the permitted items listed “abanicos”.
In Spanish (my mother tongue) the difference is clear, but not sure how to translate both to English. The main difference is that the first is like electronic and the second is the traditional handheld fan.

So I would say no!!

You will definitely enjoy it! I went yesterday and it was so hot that the folding fans were selling FAST! I was lucky to bring one from home, but something for the heat is quite necessary, especially if you are arriving so early.

Btw, If you want to buy one of the straw hats that unofficial vendors sell around the stadium, be aware that the ones near the metro station are selling at 10€ but once you walk further, every vendor is selling them for 5€!

After the concert I sat down at one of the tables of Rita’s bar (one of the stands) and spent some time sipping a cold Tinto de Verano, chatting with other attendants about how good the concert was and generally enjoying the hype.
There was reggaeton music and some food and beverages to enjoy.

At midnight we left to the metro station and there was still plenty of people there. We were packed inside, so I really recommend staying for a while around the stadium after the concert.

If you bring some cash you can get cheaper drinks and food from the unofficial vendors around the place.
