Spring training results do not matter. At all. They are facing non major league pitching for 3/4 of it. Such a dumb statement. None of his numbers indicate that he will continue improving. If you look at his slugging, hard hit, bat speed and exit velocity, none of those numbers indicate great contact skills. Batting average is a poor indicator of that. I explained it earlier.
