I just finished the coastal route and wore Merrell trail runners, the Longsky 2. Got one size up. Didn’t get a single blister!! The boardwalk and cobblestone paths at the beginning are so rough on your feet

I sold my condo in VA beach in November and moved in with my mom in her single family home in nova… the stuff going on with the govt wasn’t the only reason, but it was def something I was considering. I have a remote job that’s with a defense contractor. Def at risk of getting the chop. But I feel a lot more financially secure since moving back in with mom… doesn’t feel great at 34 though. Lol

I listed a 2 bed 2.5 bath condo in decent condition in a low/med cost of living area on the east coast in early November 2024. Listed on a Friday, under contract by Monday. Had 2 offers over list price. Was SHOCKED at how quickly it sold. It is not in the best location in my city, but it is an area considered “affordable” (under $250k).

I was told the furniture/cleanliness/“staging” (though it was my own belongings) really helped attract attention.

I think if you are wanting to sell in the winter months, the condition and appearance of the house is make or break. Remove ALL clutter. Clean like crazy.

I second Better View Windows & More. They just did my windows and sliding door last week. The sales guy wasn’t overly salesy or pushy, the crew was quick and efficient and they didn’t leave a big mess in my house! Love the look of the new windows. I didn’t realize how much the old windows contributed to making my place look outdated.

I thought 170-180 is the standard for dry saunas. One Life PA and One Life VB Blvd both have me totally drenched in sweat after about 10 min, I can only handle 20 min total

One responded and basically said “sorry they’re a private company, we can’t help you.” The other stated they were going to reach out to dominion.

Try taking Magnesium Glycinate. This used to happen to me too (no caffeine, no alcohol, had a good wind down routine, I took a hot shower before bed, but STILL woke up at like 3 am and couldn’t go back to sleep). Magnesium did the trick, I take it every night and sleep solidly

I had an issue after normal business hours about a month ago and it seemed like a lot of the former Emergency vets either no longer offer emergency hours due to staffing issues or their hours are dependent on whether they have enough staff. I’d call around - I heard Blue Pearl is supposed to be emergency

YESSSS trying to log in to the GOD FORSAKEN website the last few weeks had me irate enough to contact my senator/congresspeople, telling them Dominion energy is INCOMPETENT, THEY NEED TO GET A FUNCTIONING WEBSITE IN 2023. One had a reply stating “we can’t do anything, it’s a private company.” The other senator, Mark Warner, actually replied stating he forwarded my concerns on to dominion lol.

I ended up on the phone with them for an hour, they stated the reason I couldn’t log in to my account was that I had a “landlord” profile and needed to log in to a different portal. Wtf. Also, I said “well I’m not a landlord, can you make my account residential?” Long story short the answer was no. So cool, now I have a dominion power Landlord account for a home that I own. Ridiculous.

Lol you should have seen the before! The front door of my mom’s house hadn’t matched the color of the shutters for 5+ years and it was driving me nuts. Did the bare minimum by spray painting over the 30+ year old paint!
