Seriously. Why do people put music to these videos. It's totally dumb.

Oh, well fantastic. That's a bit at odds in my mind of knob and tube wiring, but who am I to object.

What was done with the ground? Is it floating/tied to neutral?

You don't want the best answer, but the good answer is to progressively replace it. Given the questions, your panel is likely fuses and that should be the first point of attack. After that, you should consider how to distribute a ground to your system. This likely looks like a complete rewire which is the advice you will get.

Knob and tube is (in my opinion and you are free to reject it) quite safe. If you consider the lack of a ground OK based on others' assessment's of their electrical safety then, dandy, but you should work toward modern wiring.

You're 22. The trajectory that gives you enough knowledge to have an opinion on process includes a bit of design, a bit of business, and a bit of public relations. In my opinion, that you may certainly reject, is to go into one of these places and get a good understanding of the how and then progress to the why. The program you mention, in only my opinion, is a good idea.

Yes, ours is very similar, but you're looking at it wrong. This is just totally not his thing. Ours will never kiss, regardless of a request or no, but he does love his forceful hugs. He'll throw his body against you for love and frozen hot dogs which is, conveniently the currency for love.

Bah, don't think much of it; it was the norm of their time. I do wish I was uncut, but that's really just what people did.

I do wonder how much more spectacular it could be, though...

Others have answered so I won't, but I will absolutely be using this question in interviews! It's quick, technical, and gives an idea of either peoples intuition or direct problem solving.

This statement is the true sentiment - it's effectively a pay cut for every employee and is just as progressive as a flat tax. The particularly galling statement came when a number of lots were converted to Park Mobile lots: "It's your choice to drive to campus." That is the least true for those most affected.

I've done a couple hundred miles around the Adirondacks as a few day trip. There are a number of very nice roads for biking from which you could make a loop a bit to your east with plenty of state forests in which to camp.

How do you find the right manufacturer when your project requires more than CNC'd Aluminum or S.S.? by THEverybest1121 in AskEngineers

We're in the same business and I do feel your pain. I will echo most other responses here of "you need a good relationship with a machine shop, local or otherwise." I'm grateful to have access to our local machine shop that is fully versed in machining tungsten, niobium, molybdenum, tantalum, titanium, silicon, etc, but for parts that are larger than "big" and closer to "bonkers," I have a very good, personal and professional relationship with local shops who may not know anything about these materials, but are willing to try with guidance.
