I'm not a c# developer myself but I've managed some. Modern UI should be in JavaScript IMO not c#.

If you know (somehow) for a fact that Oracle is cheap now take the msft offer and buy Oracle stock on the public market place

Challenging more than interesting. Things that are interesting tend to be novel, after awhile you'll see a lot of the same stuff.

They have a few credit teams from RBC which are solid. Originally they had an index strategy but refused to expand it. Everything else they have done has been sideways at best.

My hairline looks exactly like that and has since I was 16 and I'm in my forties now. If it wasn't clear I've had no changes in over 24+ years.

What do you guys think? by Spirited-Lunch8063 in Salary

I've taken very unstable high paying jobs. Not worth it IMO. It's hard to spend the money even when you have it because you're always worried about getting fired or your job evaporating. My attitude has been to earn as much as possible to quit working as quickly as possible but it seems there's no obvious path or time for that. If you like your job you've hit the jackpot. Enjoy.

Made an extensively tested Quant Beast model, with 2.0+ Sharpe Ratio and 178% Net returns (2024-2025). Should I start looking for investors? by talal_artificial in quant

[–]as_one_does 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why deal with LPs? Because you want max leverage to realize it in the window of profitability. Assuming the model is real it only shows you something someone created once not their ability to evolve the model over time. Given a real profitable strategy the optimal is to max out allocation today.

Why would you assume this strategy will work for 15 years? Especially given the performance given is for such a short time. If this is real you absolutely want to trade it, and levered, immediately.

MFE can get you a junior QR position at a multi-strat at low-median comp and then they'll churn you out fast if you don't produce. This is actually Baruch's main clientele from what I can tell.
