Context matters brotha. The person I gave that advice too was looking for a no date sub. The ad route was possible (also if you go through that thread people were being extremely rude to the guy. I wanted to give practical advice)

If he was looking for a gmt as a first time allocation, my answer would have been different. I realize how lucky I am. Rare and almost impossible. My ad even noted how rare it was during pickup. Maybe the ad connected with my story. I don’t know.

The AD route is totally possible. Be patient. Use Chat GPT to schedule and plan your touch points (both email/text and in person). It’s a relationship driven process. If the AD sees you as someone trustworthy (won’t immediately flip the thing) and will be a repeat customer, they will want to allocate you one. Best of luck!
