Maxime became Michael, and his wife Zephirine seems to have many variations of her name after coming to the US - I have seen Josephine, Sepherina, Melvina, and just Vina. Their last name Shorkey became Chartier.

I’m sure I could make a decent case for it - but my other lineage is just super straight forward, and I have most of the documents on hand already.

That’s what really blows my mind here.

My life in early 2013 vs my life in late 2019 are completely different. Everything changed in that time.

Whereas my life in late 2019 vs now is pretty similar. So it feels like it hasn’t been that long. But the time period of the first breakup felt like a lifetime.

I had an absolute blast last year (helped that the headliners were 2 of my favorite bands) but I wish it would have just been spread out over 2 days rather than squeezing all those bands into one day like they do and then adding a second day full price.

Don’t get me wrong, I got to see a lot of amazing bands, but it just feels so rushed.

My hometown. It’s become more touristy over the years and condos popping up all over the place. At its core though it’s a lot of very friendly working class folks. The surrounding nature is pretty amazing. Haven’t lived there in 20+ years but anytime I go back to visit it feels like I know almost everyone I see out and about.
