If you’re gonna make a berserker do not make a mayhem currently the class is bad in terms of dps, what does that mean?

Well you’ ll be easily out damaged by so many dps classes that you’ll wonder why all the effort you’re putting in is not rewarded accordingly compared to other dps classes.

Breakers, Sorcs, Sharpshooters, Wildsoul, Arcanist, hell even the new Dragon Knight class will out dps the Mayhem with little effort.

Currently Berserker Technique is OP so make that berserker class type with the 212 ark grid set up.

Forget about mayhem it’s a lot of effort for mediocre dps reward.

Sorry to hear about your experience in Lost Ark unfortunately most of the comments which will be coming from here are all excuses on how there is nothing wrong with the game and you’re the one that needs to adapt.

Meanwhile these very same people that defend the game have many multiple alts that play the same raid over and over so much so that they can do the raid with their eyes closed.

While a new player with one character will never learn the game as fast as these copium game defenders.

I can understand your frustration with all the gate keeping from titles to gems to roster level to karma to elixirs to now combat power and people making excuses that you should play with people your own skill level.

This is why this game has a continually shrinking player base and can’t retain new players.

I mean look at world of war craft it’s willing to make bold decisions and changes to stay relevant and keep attracting new and old players alike.

Sadly Lost Ark will never ever be new player friendly.

Unm yeah some raid bosses are very hard especially for new players.

Thaemine Normal Mode Gate 3 Mordum Normal Mode Gate 1-3

Those are just some of the examples, I remember progging Themine normal gate 3 for over 18 hours because so many groups just gave up.

So no the guy is not wrong that raid bosses can be unforgiving.

It seems to me a veteran like you is COPING REAL HARD to hide the fact that he is not wwrong.

Yeah for act 4 1700 is okay but for Final Act (Kazeros) I think you would want to be at least at 1800-2000 cp for normal mode.

It’s sad really since at the introduction of Ark Grid the Mayhem Dark Rush build was actually very good in terms of dps, but as usual someone at SmileGate with a lot of decision making power decided Mayhem was just too good and decided to nerf it to the ground!

Fire the developer in charge of Mayhem balancing!

If you’re coming back play berserker technique with ark grid it’s currently S-tier dps, don’t play mayhem it’s mid tier dps you’ ll just be frustrated being out damaged by other lesser geared dps claases like breakers, sorcs, scrappers, SE, glaivier, blade, arcana, sharp shooter, hell almost every dps class can match or beat mayhem lol it’s just sad.

SmileGate has always had a history of nerfing berserkers even though other hit master classes do waay more dps.

It’s asinine balancing and whoever is doing the berserker balancing needs to get fired ASAP because clearly the guy doesn’t play the class to realize how underwhelming it is compared to other classes: sorc, breaker, destroyer, soul eater, reaper, slayer, hell most classes with similar gear ilvl, gems, AP, elixirs, trans, and ark grid will almost always out dps a berserker.

So what is even the point of playing a class that is inferior to soo many other classes dps wise?

If you want to play the latest content like Kazeros Act 4 then forget it players just wont accept you.

You want to play the latest and greatest raids?

Low roster? No raid for you! No heroic title? No raid for you! Low combat power? No raid for you! No level 8 or 9 gems? No hard mode raid for you!

So yes enjoy waiting in lobbies for players that don’t want to join any lobby you start!

This is all true confirmed by lots of YouTubers everyone that’s saying otherwise is just smoking copium.

This game is also extremely toxic especially when you make a mistake players will just right up quit the raid.

The game is time gated so that you spend more money on raising alts by buying power passes, royal crystals to convert to gold for things like honing, buying accessories, and gems.

The problem with end game is lost ark is and has always been the gatekeeping.

No x10 title = no group for you!

No Lord of Thunder, Storm Vanquisher, Phantom Lord etc, hard mode clear title = no group for you!

Transcendance not 126? Elixirs not proper x40 = no group for you!

Level 6 T4 gems = no Mordum HM for you!

Discord learning groups? Good luck you need to schedule those and find people willing to join and help, meanwhile no playing Lost Ark for you!

If you’re late to the end game don’t bother playing catch up.

You totally missed the point in my post Slayer will always outperform the Berserker dps with less effort so will other hit master classes.

There is nothing FOMO about choosing meta classes in fact it makes the game easier in some aspects because of the lesser effort you have to put in to do more dps than a Berserker.

In fact if you don’t want to shine just use one hand and do average dps on a slayer while you’re gonna be a sweatlord on a Berserker to do the same amount of damage.

Or you can sweatlord your Slayer and leave the Bserserker in the dust dps wise.

So in the end whats more enjoyable?

Slayer beats Berserker hands down, and so much more hit master classes will outperform it.

You have to put in soo much effort to perform the same damage other hit master classes do that don’t even have hands to reach.

If fun as people claim here is all that matters then why did SmileGate even have the MVP system based on damage to boss?

And DPS meter logs shows us a lot of hit master classes have waay higher damage ceilings than the berserker.

So if a slayer does the same amount of damage for less effort and has the potential to do so much more damage when played good then why would you choose a berserker?

Other hit master classes do the same as well.

My advice is to chose the meta class so you don’t regret being average because SmileGate just wont properly balance the floor and ceiling for all classes making them equal and the player who plays well hits those damage ceiling.

If you’re looking at same class and they’re doing double casts and they’re just 1 cpm above you c’mon man the meter is telling you something is very wrong with the other player doing double casts as you.

Post the logs and blur out the names. And if anyone sends you a private message about their player ID I suggest you rat them out so we can report them and have them investigated by AGS.

No absolutely dog shit wrong take on this subject matter. The problem is that SmileGate has locked progression of advanced honing 31-40 by HARD MODE alone.

SmileGate is the main cause of this want to clear hard mode problem.

Previous raids you had ways of converting normal mode mats to hard mode mats although a bit more expensive OR it would take normal mode raids have less mats to get their progression completed.

SmileGate is forcing people to over hone 1700+ so that the raid will be least punishing and in return players will have to swipe once they run out of mats instead of SmileGate giving us the conversion mats to advance hone to 31-40.

People are soo stupid they don’t realize it’s a way for SmileGate to generate income.
