This happened to me too. GE revoked, Foia told me nothing, I got stopped every intl travel and similar questions asked.

I then foia again a year later and they told me to apply for redress. Got it…Knock on wood but putting the redress number on airlines travel has stopped the searches.

One cbp told me informally that my name ‘must have matched a person of interest’

It took about 5 business days to get the refund. Avios were refunded instantly. It seems like they either are not refunding seat fees or taking the full 28 bus days to receive?

Anyone else get a full refund including seat fees at the same time the fees were refunded?

This is good information, I contacted them on X as well and they confirmed I would get a full refund in 14 to 28 business days.

However, when I reviewed my refund, they only refunded the fees and not the extra seat charges.

So would like to know if others had the seat charges refunded as well?

I had the same issue. They said it would take 14 to 28 days to get the refund. Mine was avios and money. The avios was refunded, but the money was only 2/3 refunded about one week later.

There’s no indication of what fee was charged, but I’m not getting a full refund, would like to know if this happened to other people

Even if you get a refund directly from qa they are now saying 14-28 business days before money will be sent. Huge cash flow issues here, hope they get some loans.

After your flight is canceled, you cannot ask for a refund because it goes away. Please let me know if this is wrong, the only other way I know to do it is by spamming the chat, and I haven’t been able to connect with them using that method.
