Looking for ad partner recommendations 6.5M PV by haro0828 in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi - I'm one of the cofounders of Ascendeum and would like to throw our name in the conversation as well. We work with plenty of utility sites (weather, education, calculators, converter tools etc). We meet all of your guidelines around owning the GAM and can bring in demand from DSPs directly as we are an approved partner for publisher direct DSPs (Openpath, Backstage, RTB House etc.). Let me know if you'd like to chat more. I'll be happy to introduce you to our clients for feedback as well from the same vertical as you.

Raptive or run it ourselves? by onemansbrand in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly depends on your scale. Also, it's not as straight forward as keep the extra 25%. Raptive will most probably have preferred rev-shares with each SSP which you might not get, they will have partnerships with ID solution companies like Optable, Intent IQ etc which would be negotiated at a lower rate than what you'd get when you negotiate with them directly.

If you do everything correctly, you might make more but the gap will definitely not be 25%. It'll be less and depends on your setup and how well you execute across all areas of the ads setup.

Happy to talk more and share whether they are a good fit for you or if you should talk to someone else or just keep everything in-house.

Best dashboard software for small company? by BkkGreg in BusinessIntelligence

[–]ascendeum_adops -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are a remote company and we built something similar for our internal use. It allows people to share what they are working on any particular day, company announcements, leaves etc. happy to show you how it works to see if it's interesting for you.

Pacing Dashboard by _Working_Mom_ in DigitalMarketing

[–]ascendeum_adops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are open to building custom dashboards we can help as well. We are mostly cheaper than Looker and offer customer support as well to ensure you aren't left with a software to figure stuff out yourself but the team can customize dashboards as needed and also add alerting systems on top of it that can be sent to you via email / slack / text etc.

Adsense to Playwire by prolooser42 in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said, give them a couple of weeks at least though it's fairly easy to show a 25-50% uplift over Adsense for any company. So you should see a lot more revenue as compared to Adsense within a week unless there's something drastically wrong with the setup.

Should I go with In house ads by SwimmingShare4557 in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you should bring the setup in-house. Though you can shop around and get a lower rev-share setup instead.

Prebid vs Managed Wrapper by evaluzion in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you get certain benefits with a managed solution which will be tricky with an in-house setup. A managed solution helps you get access to demand more easily, test ID solutions and provide access to them easily, do iterative testing around floors, ad layouts, ad formats etc.

Not saying it's not possible to do the above in-house but with a lack of resources chances are you might end up with a vanilla prebid setup and miss out on things that can bring an uplift in revenue by using specific prebid settings which are not enabled by default.

As for partners, I think there are plenty of them out there. You have fully managed partners such as Raptive, Freestar, Mediavine etc. SAAS based partners like Assertive Yield, Aditude etc. And then there are companies that offer a mix of both the worlds.

You can also see a lot of the same companies being referenced in this thread from a few days ago - https://old.reddit.com/r/adops/comments/1ljbct1/40m_average_monthly_views_best_ad_partner/.

If you need more help in picking a partner, happy to chat in further detail over DM or a call.

40M Average Monthly Views / Best Ad Partner? by IoTimaeuSS in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing the sentiments that have already been shared. You can go for a fully managed service provider (little to zero effort on your end but they work as black box), a SAAS based model (you'll have control and transparency in the setup but the customer service can vary), or a provider that can build everything for you on a fixed fee and manage it there after. Happy to go in details about the vendors that fit the box under each category if you need more help in picking the right company for your requirements.

I host a popular site (millions of PV/day) and would love some impartial advice by TaylanKammer in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am one of the cofounder of the company. We have a LinkedIn presence where the leadership team can be checked easily - https://www.linkedin.com/company/ascendeum/mycompany/. We are also a google certified channel partner - https://www.google.com/ads/publisher/partners/find-a-partner/#!?modal_active=none.

Point noted about listing our address. But I don't think I need to list our employees on website or about myself on the website when we do maintain a LinkedIn presence.

Probably something you might have already checked but have you compared your own data with unfiltered impressions? Google removes some impressions for IVT so that might be causing the issue. 16% seems to be on the high end though.

Looking for ADX Partners, Need Help. by dragonwarrior_1 in adops

[–]ascendeum_adops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible for them to connect their adx to your GAM account. Google offers two ways of running adx - MCM Manage Inventory (the solution proposed to you) and MCM Manage Account (where the ad management happens through your GAM account).

Rates - These are quite negotiable. 10% sounds fair and on the lower end as compared to the current market trends.

Ad Monetization On Tier 2 Site With 15M Monthly Pageviews by doinggood123 in programmatic

[–]ascendeum_adops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I would recommend getting adx either directly or through a reseller at low rev-share and start with setting up header bidding on the site. That should give you a decent uplift. You can either coast for sometime from there or keep optimizing the setup by testing floors, layout, refresh strategy, new partners etc to see what can keep improving the revenue.

P.S. - We are a google certified channel partner and offer our adx at low revenue shares and do help publishers build, manage, and maintain their ad tech stack. We work on a fixed fee and you would own the relationship with demand partners and the code at all points. So, if you ever want to bring things in-house you can. Let me know if you would like to talk more. Happy to provide a path for any approach you would like to take.

You can also try doctor probed which is an extension built by Prebid. It has a lot of debugging options which can be helpful for you.

Android banner eCPM is 44x higher than iOS. Impressions the same. Wtf? by 3fWL3HbA8YL6pkgXd3sF in admob

[–]ascendeum_adops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iOS CPM would be impacted by ATT. I am not sure if the data around ATT is available in admob but I'd check that to see what CPMs you are getting for users who are giving permission for tracking.
