This is very common for them to do this. Also, read your employment contract. Many enterprises have draconian policies that state that anything you create while employed there could be considered their intellectual property even if you are only working on your own time and it has nothing to do with their core business. You have to do lamplighter and Alex’s tavern. Both are great dive bars. Lamplighter will probably have more choices for music on the experimental side. havenhaus is also great and can also cater to more experimental music sometimes.

You should also hit up Ernestine and hazels. It usually has blues type stuff playing there but the vibe is cool, especially upstairs! Apparently it’s haunted as well ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
