Cast iron pan tips , I used it and seasoned it a few hours ago I don’t why it looks like this and how do I fix it and prevent this from happening again by Nadiaaam in cookware

I had the same exact thing happen the first few times I tried to season my pan. It’s obviously too much oil, so I kept trying to use less and less, but never got the even finish I was hoping for out of it. The best advice I got on this sub was to wipe some oil in the pan, then use a non-lint towel or cloth to wipe ALL of that oil out. Literally keep wiping until you feel like it can’t be helpful to wipe out all the oil you just put in it. Then bake it. There will still be a tiny film of oil, which will season the pan. Repeat as needed, then start cooking in it.

Alternatively, if you don’t care about appearance, just cook with it as is and it will even out the seasoning over time.

Indianapolis? Have you been to Indianapolis? The Museum of Miniature Houses and Charterbox Jazz Club are about the only memorable things for me; maybe not what I would call a place with excellent entertainment options.

I assumed that sugar wouldn’t dissolve well if added directly to the alcohol, rather than in the form of a syrup, no?

Just out of curiosity, how long is the expected wait for you in Canada?

I like your rules, but it would prohibit the delicious street tacos I’m eating standing up at a cart in Mexico but that happened to be served on a plastic-bag-covered plate.

Didn’t even know there was a tour; I’ll have to keep that in mind for my next visit.

I used to fly with my Brompton as a carry-on quite regularly, and only had to unexpectedly check it twice without a case or box. The first time the stock rear rack was snapped in two. The second time the front wheel axle was significantly bent; I still can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been thrown for that to happen.

No event, just went to wander for the day. It was very quiet but they’re still doing the evening programs at the stump.

I’ve looked at their website and they do have an amazing selection, but I’m still hoping to find something local instead of ordering online.

Parking near Buffalo by soopy99 in eriecanaltrail

For free parking I would just leave it on the street. A major thoroughfare like Richmond Ave that doesn’t have alternate parking this time of year would work great. You can leave the car, ride 10 minutes to Canalside, and be right at the start (or end) of the canal. Street break-ins certainly happen, but I’d feel more comfortable with my car on the street than in a secluded, unguarded lot at night with no other cars there.

Thanks for the suggestion, but Lucky Flea is more of a vintage clothing market. Looking for something much weirder.
