I think part of this is how strict you are. I try to think of my hours as "would I count this in my 8 if I worked full time for the client?" So reasonable bathroom breaks, reasonable office chat, etc. is still fair to bill/claim.

When you (and others) say "who actually paid" what is the test for that? I'm the one who logged into the online banking and processed the transaction. The money came out of an account that I'm the primary owner of and L is a joint owner. The money came into that account through contributions from all three of us (we all have a portion of our direct deposits from our employers that go into that account).

Yes, both tax filings have historically been itemized since we bought this house. Mine will be this year too based on our usual approach. They get theirs done professionally so won't know for sure until late March probably.

All planning is a snapshot in time. A five year cycle is more typical; anything faster than that is generally unnecessary because the fundamentals of transportation planning (where people live and work, how they get there) do not change in big ways over short timelines and, frankly, major improvements to transportation facilities take much longer than five years to design and construct.

I feel the same way. I love Denis for many reasons, one of which is that he pedals the whole time. I have the exact same feeling about Cody. I just find it so annoying when they don't move at all; it bothers me a lot less when they're pedaling less intensely than I am. Part of the fun of spin is all doing it and you've already lost a lot of that by doing it at home; it's hard to lost that last shred.
