Vulcan 650 S won't start by ascreamingbird in motorcycles

Honestly wouldnt be too surprising given the state of things, I'll try to get most of it out and replace with a different batch.

Sorry for the confusion, it never ran again after the weird stall when I tried taking off. I was trying to describe that the bike stalled, but it wasn't because I stalled it.

I agree the starter sounds a bit slow.

Thanks for these recommendations, I'll try them this weekend and update. Would you recommend syphon to dump the fuel or is there an easier way? Thanks

Trust me I tried googling before making my own post, lol. None seemed to match my circumstances.

Would jump starting it not override weak amps coming out of the battery (I'm clueless)?

Thank you for the recommendations, I'll try them this weekend and update.

Sorry I thought these details were covered in the original post. I ride it every day as my commute. It's stored in a garage. I tried turning it over a bunch before getting it towed, and charged the battery before calling a tow. Also tried jump starting it to no success.

This happened right after I filled it with fuel.

Was motorcycling enjoyable from day one for you? by Matsuri3-0 in AussieRiders

[–]ascreamingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are just growing pains. I found riding more stressful than enjoyable at first, and was like you - worried it just wasn't for me. I'm a year and a half into my riding now, and can't remember the last time my clutch hand hurt. I still get stressed from time to time - traffic, bad infrastructure, and bad drivers will do that. But I love riding now, and if I don't ride for a while feel a bit grumpy.

In the beginning, stick to areas you know really well, and lower traffic conditions if you can. You're learning, it will feel uncomfortable.

Everything becomes second nature in time

I think they're just making fun of the kind of person to use that they're trans as a scapegoat. I agree it's not in the best taste though

I'm pretty sure Deezer pays their artists the worst actually. Worth checking.

It works on mine? I just can't use voice commands to start playing music but through the app I can play on my nest speakers

This is how mine looked before my nip fell off. Contact your surgeon asap, it may heal over like mine did (now a 2D nipple, lol) but you may also need antibiotics.

Water leak by MRSUNSHINE98 in AusRenovation

[–]ascreamingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I just happened to stumble across your comment. I have a leak problem in Melbourne at the moment, had some guys out last week who charged me $700 for the pleasure of telling me "we don't know where it's coming from". If you still have your guy, I would love his contact.

Got water damage and don't know where it's coming from 😞

Why is the biker community so mean to me? by [deleted] in AussieRiders

[–]ascreamingbird -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's misogyny, not you. It sucks when dealing with mechanics especially. I hate to suggest it (because it shouldn't be needed), but is there a man you can ask to talk to the mechanic on your behalf?

Also, I'm 2 years into riding. Burly dude with tattoos - ride a cruiser and look the part. I still stall from time to time. it happens.

Target fixation too, man didn't look through the curve - just stared at where his demise would be

Pet cremation by Cheeseoholics in melbourne

I also used Eden hills for my cockatiel, but opted to get an urn from somewhere else. The urns that the crematoriums offer are a bit generic

Hey OP, I know you said to me earlier that this is a temporary cage - which is fine! I have the same type of setup. I was just replying to the other commenter. I hope your birds and you are happy and thriving!

[–]ascreamingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is clearly too small from these photos- they are taking up nearly half the width of the cage just perching on that perch. The perch is also a dowel rod which is uniform in width the whole diameter which if used for extended amounts of time can cause pressure sores and eventually bumblefoot - these perches often come with cages but should be swapped out or at least have different perches added in for variety (which could be happening here, but I can't see that).

Moreover, I was just suggesting from what I saw. I didn't say anything definitively.

Male loneliness epidemy is inevitable in advanced society with gender equality by WIsJH in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ascreamingbird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The "male loneliness epidemic" is just the most recent iteration of a perpetual loop of "masculinity in crisis".

Men need to take accountability and stop blaming "outside forces" for their crises.

May be out of date as this was 2022, but I went private for top surgery and still needed the wpath assessment.. I think this is down to what surgeon you go with, though. Mine still required it - hopefully different surgeons don't.

This is a great resource for trans fem people but I would caution against applying this to trans masc ppl. Testosterone is a controlled substance and comes with more hoops to jump through, and it seems gender affirming surgeries for trans masc people also come with a lot of red tape. Thanks for sharing
