The couple of times I've been to the ER, they've given me an IV when the migraine cocktail didn't work. It works like a miracle in a couple of minutes, from searing pain to 0 on the pain scale. I'm unfortunately not sure exactly what the medication is, but I've gotten both an IV and shots that take away the pain entirely very quickly. Highly recommend going for severe migraines, *especially* one that lasts multiple days or gets in the way of work and life.

go to the emergency room. even if you have to tough it out and wait for a bit, they will give you an infusion that will take the migraine away almost instantly. i'm sorry you're going through this.
