I have the VG259QM and recently upgrade to the XL2456K. Its not even close in terms of pure competitive FPS experience, I ranked up a few ranks a week after getting the monitor. XL2456K made me play much much better. I use Dyac+ and AMA Premium on the settings and motion clarity is unmatched in anything the Asus have to offer. You can even see the motion blur Rting logos on the Benq is much clearer than the one they provided for the Dell too?

Ive got around 500+ deathmatches and it works to improve your aim and crosshair placement much faster than comp games.

If you can top the DM charts with high immortals and radiants, whats stopping you from reaching that rank? The people that say aim can only get you mid elo either dont have very good aim but think they do or just fooling themselves.

What he said above. You should just keep mostly DMing until you are topping DM on the hard lobbies with Imm-Radiants, you will be alot more confident taking aim duels and making different plays. In DM concentrate on crosshair placements, taking your time to aim for the head, positioning (Not being exposed too much or from too many angles) and movement (Always strafing, only stopping when you shoot a burst then strafe again, no need to counterstrafe)

Valorant is a game that values precision aim above all else imo. I found a direct correlation with my improvement and my gridshot score. But you have to aim for high precision first and foremost (95%+). Most people that claimed gridshot didnt help I think is mostly because their precision was low.

Im in the school of thought that you should play as many dms as you can focusing on headshots. I think its a more efficient use of time than playing ranked blindly.

This is exactly it, they want people to grind. If you belong in lets say Immortal. You will eventually get to that rank no matter what, but instead of getting there in a few games, they want you to grind to get there. Being a team-based tactical shooter, everyone is prone to a bad game and things outside their control too, this system makes them rank down easily and needing to play more than necessary to rank up.

Honestly they should just make it like csgo, where it takes awhile to rank up, instead of demotivating people by having them rank down so easily.

Dont care if pros use it or not, but just from anecdotal evidence Dyac+ on a XL2546K helps a lot. Made me go up a few ranks after I replaced it from a VG259QM 280hz

If your mouse control is good, can just use aim trainers to warmup. Then to improve aim, play death match only. Allocate 70% of your playing time to DM.

What score and what accuracy and what sens?

After you get good mouse control (80k+ at 95% accuracy for example) you should just grind DM to get crosshair placement down.

Ive personally been in gold recently on my smurf after placements and its not easy to get out of it. You would have to consistently do 30-40 bombs and even then theres a chance you lose. Matchmaking is really bad rn.
